Nicknames.

Chloe Sullivan has had a lot of nicknames over the years. But there was only one she ever loved.

It had started back when a blonde baby girl was placed into her father's arms.

Gabe Sullivan had started the whole nickname theme in her life, at least to Chloe she was sure he did.

To her father Chloe became his princess, he always referred to her as that as she tottered around the Sullivan home.

As she grew in years Chloe gained countless nicknames, some unforgiving.

Best friend, confident and anchor were names that had cemented her relationship with Clark.

Love sick puppy, loser in love and silly girl were some of the hardest nicknames that she endured but her friendship with Clark was worth it.

Sneaky, nosy and stubborn were nicknames that some people carried with shame but Chloe never once thought those names were degrading because she knew only the truth.

Even though Clark often tried to change her mind on that matter more then once.

Of course trouble magnet, death trap and bullseye were names that itched her the wrong way but after what felt like the hundredth of being kidnapped, attacked and almost killed she guessed that it was fitting.

Weak, coward and a failure were names that tipped her over the edge, forcing her to lash out and build those walls back up.

Cold, heartless and a bitch were names that came along with being a career woman but she would have to admit that when people closest to her utter those names made her want to rip herself out of their world and live in some cold and distant place.

Beautiful, sweetheart and angel were nicknames that felt far and few in-between but she guessed it was payment that she needed to pay for what she believed in. the heartache was just another payment she was meant to pay.

Courageous, heroic and selfless made her shy away and hide behind her computers because that wasn't her, she was the watchtower the one behind the scenes and she was more then happy with that.

She came to the conclusion that after so many years and so many nicknames she loved them all dearly because they proved she had lived and loved. She had felt heartache and she had felt hate.

Chloe Sullivan had lived by the names she had been labelled with.

But there was only one nickname she learned to love and cherish above all else.

"Does Mrs. Queen have anything to say" Oliver Queen questioned turning his mirthful eyes to the blonde curled up on the couch lost in her own musings.

"Extra Cheese" she offered smirking when Oliver swooped down and pressed a kiss to her lips.

"You heard my wife" Oliver called to AC who rolled his eyes at the pair but still smiled despite the three years that had passed with the newest nicknames.

OK so she had two nicknames she loved and cherished above all else.

There would be a third in eight months but she was sure it wouldn't stick until their child labelled her with it.

And even though everyone declared 'Mrs. Chloe Queen' and 'Wife' weren't nicknames but rather statuses she didn't care.

She still loved her new nicknames because they were going to stick with her forever.

OK so I'm on a roll of sorts with the Chloe/Oliver fics only because I believe that those two should have a happy ending (and not just because of the smart and cute blonde babies they will have).
