I found myself in Lumbridge one day, and I started wandering around. After exploring many of the places within the town, I decided to venture out even though I had no bearings on where I was or where I was going. As I was toiling around, trying to figure out where I was, I ran into a sheep farmer. As I was chatting with him he asked if I would like some work, and give him a hand. I had nothing better to do, so I decided to take him up on his offer. I figured if I didn't know where I was or what I was going to do, I might as well make some money.
Farmer Fred asked me if I would be willing to get some balls of black wool for him. Well, that didn't sound too hard, so I said sure, but I have no clue what to do to get you that wool. He explained that I had to grab the shears off his table and shear twenty black sheep in his yard. Once I did that, I was supposed to go to Lumbridge Castle and use the spool on the second floor to make the wool. Sure, no problem, how hard could that be right? I grabbed the shears off his table and went out to meet the sheep. I was on a roll and about 10 sheep deep, when one started to run away from me. So, I ran after him and finally got my eleventh one. But, after that, it seemed like the other sheep had learned from watching their buddy, and they all started to run away if they saw me coming at them with the shears. After much perseverance, I made it through and had sheared twenty sheep.
Next, I was supposed to go to the castle to spin the wool into balls. So yeah, I had wandered around so much, I was quite confused about where the castle was, and people were quite rude to me because I couldn't ask anyone where I was supposed to go. After strolling around, I finally found the castle. It should have been pretty easy for me to make it to the 2nd floor, but for some reason, I kept going up to the third floor, completely missing the second one. Finally, after getting enough exercise for weeks, I made it to the second floor, spun the wool, and managed to find my way back to Farmer Fred.
He seemed pretty impressed by my accomplishment, and wondered why I was limping. I told him he didn't want to know, it was a long story. He managed to show me some more crafting tricks (whatever that means), and paid me for my work. Sweet! I got money, now if I could only find a place to store it…
