Their mouths are pressed up against each other's, desperate and needy and warm.
(it hurts just a little bit)
They're young and stupid and they don't really know what they're doing.
(but that doesn't really stop them)
She molds into him, earnest and wanting and right there.
(he can't help but take her)
He comes to her, friendly and open and maybe a little lost.
(she wants to show him the right way so much)
She tells him she's hurting because he may not stay, he tells her it's the same for him, but they don't stop, not at all.
(because happiness comes with pain)
He runs a thumb across her cheek and tells her, bluntly, that she's a hell of a lot prettier than usual today.
(she takes the compliment in stride)
She leans her head on his shoulder, feeling the faint thrum of his heart, and says cheekily that he seems to be manlier now.
(he chuckles and tells her that he hasn't even proved it yet)
They wonder, unknowing of the other's thoughts, if they'll be able to do this again sometime.
(hell yeah, they think)
She wraps her arms around his neck, bringing him down to her level, because she doesn't like the way he's taller than her.
(all he can think is how prettypretty her eyes are)
They're painting each other black and blue with bruises of promises.
(but they don't care, not while they're like this, tangled and smirking and blissfully content)
