Author's Note: My first Host Club fic! Please review so that I can improve my writing. I do not own Ouran Host Club or the song "Marry Your Daughter" by BRKNRBTZ. It may help to listen to the song before reading.

Tamaki sat at the little table in Fujioka apartment across from Ramka. He was shaking slightly, but trying his best to hide it. Well at least until he picked up his cup of tea and it started to shake.

Tamaki tried to laugh it off, "Sorry, nerves."

"So what can I help you with?" Ramka asked the young man, grinning. He knew exactly what Tamaki was here for, had been expecting it for years, he just wanted to make the young man squirm.

"I'm still not sure what to say. So bear with me, sorry to take up so much of your time," the blond finally fumbled out.

He seemed to gather his thoughts, reached into his pocket, and placed a blue velvet box on the table.

"You see in this box is a ring for Haruhi, she's my everything and all I know is it would be a relief if I knew you agree."

Ramka raised a perfectly sculpted eyebrow.

Tamaki's nerves kicked in again, but he was determined to do this. He was not the type of guy to sneak off and ask Haruhi to marry him without running it by Ramka first. Haruhi was his only child and though Tamaki wasn't planning on taking her away from him, he could understand how Ramka could feel that way.

He finally found his words again.

"I'm hoping to marry your daughter and make her my wife. She's the only one I want, for the rest of my life. I'll give her nothing but the best, until the day I die."

He now looked Ramka in the eyes and remembered his days as a Host.

"I want to marry your princess and make her my Queen."

Ramka smiled at that, he knew this day was coming. He had known the day he met Tamaki, which is probably why he gave him such a hard time.

"You don't ever have to worry about me ever hurting her," Tamaki added, "Because I'm scared to death of facing a life without her."

Ramka sighed, he knew he couldn't deny this boy, much as he'd like to.

Ramka smiled, "She's going to be a beautiful bride." L

Tamaki lit up, knowing he had gained approval.

"The most beautiful bride I've ever seen," he said wistfully. He smiled at Ramka, "I can't wait to see her walking down the aisle with her father."

Ramka smiled, he may not be his little girl's #1 anymore, but he was still going to be involved, Tamaki would make sure of that.
