I don't own Percy Jackson. I know, shocking.

Connor glared at the clock next to his bed, wishing he hadn't woken up at three in the morning. All he had wanted was at least eight hours of sleep, but apparently that wasn't going to happen.

Sighing, he kicked off the covers and silently padded to the cabin door, careful not to wake anyone else. Once outside, he decided to go for a walk by the lake to burn of some of the excess energy he had. When he got there, however, someone was already there. Upon closer inspection he realized it was his girlfriend, Lucy, and she appeared to be crying. She was sitting in the sand with her arms around her knees, where her head was resting.

Connor walked over and sat down next to her, wrapping and arm around her shoulders. Lucy started when he put his arm around her, but relaxed after she saw it was him. Instantly she started wiping at her eyes, not wanting him to see her cry.

"What's wrong, Luce?" He asked softly, using his hand to brush some of her blond hair out of her face.

"Nothing's wrong, I'm fine." Lucy muttered, not meeting his eyes. He sighed.

"Come on Luce, I know something's wrong. I'm not leaving until you tell me what." Connor gently turned Lucy's face towards him, and locked his blue eyes on her sad brown ones. They stayed like this for a few moments, until Lucy started to tear up again and Connor pulled her into his arms.

"I had that dream again." She mumbled into his shoulder and he pulled her closer, stroking her hair. He knew the dream she was talking about, she had it enough times. It was the one where all her friends and family abandoned her, and told her they hated her.

Connor knew most people didn't know how fragile Lucy actually was, emotionally, not physically; she hung out with to many guys to be physically fragile. She hid it well, behind a wall of confidence and sarcasm. He was one of the few people able to break through and see the real Lucy, and with his help she had slowly started to open up more, and let more people in.

"Listen to me Luce," Connor said softly, pulling back a little and cupping her face in his hands. "It was just a dream, we all love you, I promise."

"Really? You promise?" She asked, looking up at him with her big, brown eyes.

"Yep, I promise." He repeated, and leaned in to give her a kiss. When they pulled away for air, Lucy asked:

"Do you love me?"

"Of course I love you Luce." He answered, and smiled when her face lit up.

"Well, I love you, too." She said, and snuggled into his arms, soon drifting off into a peaceful sleep. Connor grinned and leaned back so they were both lying down, and as he fell asleep, he thought perhaps waking up at three in the morning wasn't so bad after all.

Lucy is my OC, and you can either veiw Connor as an OC or as Connor Stoll, whichever you want, it's not specified. It was supposed to be Connor Stoll, but then I realized this is kind of serious for him. But he doesn't show up much in the series so maybe he does know how to be serious at times.
