Every part of me (that once-upon-a-time was filled with cheer leading, teddy-bears and Disney) was boiling over in rage that was coming off of me in waves.
"Come one step closer and your dead, Peter (just watch me)."
"Claire? Who did this to you (so I can hurt them even more), this isn't you!"
"This is me, Peter, this has been me for the last four years with no help from you."
-
He doesn't see me, only in the brief moments, when they all stop tugging on him (this way and that) and he sees the little shadow that has been with him all this time, 'oh Claire, your here?'
The moment he sees me (me that's starting to have a colder smile and a even colder heart, all thanks to him) for one split second that crooked little smile that belongs to me and me along begins to show around the corners, but of course it never fully comes out, because 'It's so very wrong, wrong beyond words'
"I should leave, see you at thanksgiving, Claire (I'll but of course skip it and leave you all alone once again)."
Because of him, the warm childish heart I once had began to freeze over.
-
"I love you. (more then life, which I can end daily and just walk away)"
The words come out stronger then I meant them to be (with a coldness to them that I'm even afraid of) but every last one of them (those three little words) were filling with nothing but the truth that did nothing but sting.
"I love you too (but of course your my cute little niece)."
And but of course it would never be in the same way (like a woman loves a man).
"Of course you do."
-
"You loved me Peter but not in the same way I loved you (the oh so wrong way) and this is what I became but do you even know that you became something worse then me?"
Rage is a strong word but in no way could it be as a strong as what I felt toward the man before, if he is even a man at all.
"Claire-"
"No. Not one single word, no 'Claire what happened to you?' Well, you know what, you happened to me and now you won't be able to hurt anyone else."
I'm worse then a cheater (worse then even Sylar himself) because I myself didn't even pull the trigger, love makes you stupid, oh so stupid, but the man they used to call Sylar is anything but.
"Thank you."
"Anything for you, Claire-Bear, anything."
