Hey guys! So I decided to start on an Ice Age fanfiction. In this new story there will be new adventures and new characters.
Enjoy!
It had been six months since the events with the asteroid, and everyone was back to their normal lives. Peaches and Julian had been married, and was out on their trip, exploring the world. Buck was living with the herd, instead of joining his dinosaur world, for up in the world, he was with his true family. Sid and Brooke were all down on planning their wedding, which was supposed to be a huge party. Then, there was the two sabers, Diego and Shira. Shira was pregnant. Everyone was so excited for the two soon-to-be-parents. Ellie and Manny had told Diego and Shira a few facts and tips on raising a baby, which they knew a lot about.
Then one fateful day, while Diego was out hunting a buck for his mate Shira, Manny and Sid came running to Diego.
"Diego!" Manny and Sid yelled, scaring the buck away.
The saber growled irritated. "This better be good." He warned.
"Shira is giving birth!" Sid exclaimed.
Diego's eyes widened. "Now?"
"No, she did it yesterday!" Manny said sarcastically. "Yes now!"
Then the feline sprinted past them, and through the land, pushing everyone away he ran past.
"Hey watch it!" Yelled a beaver.
Diego thought nothing of it and exclaimed happily. "I'm gonna be a dad!"

In Shira and Diego's cave, the female saber sat and breathed heavily, with Ellie and Brooke by her side.
"You can do it, Shira!" Brooke encouraged.
Shira moaned in pain. "This hurts, so bad!"
"We know sweetie, but in a few minutes it will be over," Ellie reassured.
Shira nodded and pushed again.

"Diego wait!" Sid exclaimed.
The saber didn't stop but only kept running with all his might.
He was going to be a father soon. The thought thrilled him. He was going to have either a son or a daughter. Diego had always said that he wanted a boy, but really he didn't care at all. Boy or girl, for as long as he could become a father.
He hadn't realized that he had zoned out because, before him, two rhinos were standing. Manny and Sid finally caught up to him panting.
"Can you move?" Diego said to the two.
"No, we like standing here." One answered with a smirk.
"Look, guys," Sid said to the rhinos. "We don't want any trouble, but his mate is giving birth to a baby right now, and we really need to get past."
The two rhinos looked at each other. "Oh, your mate is giving birth! Why didn't you say so!" One of them said sarcastically.
The saber had had enough. "Move!" He roared, making the two rhinos jump.
They quickly moved out of the way, and let the three pass.
Diego was getting close to the cave, and he could hear Shira scream in pain.
He shot inside the cave as fast as he could, and just as he went inside the screaming had stopped. Diego's eyes widened, as he saw Shira laying with a satisfied smile, while her paws were wrapped around a small creature. Behind Diego, Sid and Manny came panting. Then their eyes landed on Shira, and they got quiet.
Diego slowly moved towards his mate and looked at her hesitantly. Shira looked up at him, and they nuzzled each other. Then Shira unwrapped her paws from the small creature, and Diego's jaw dropped. It was a tiny saber, with snow-white fur like its mother, but no stripes like its father.
"It's a she," Shira smirked, remembering her conversation with Diego six months ago.
Diego looked down at the small kitten. "I- I have a daughter?" He asked getting misty eyed.
Shira nodded, and then picked up the small kitten by the scruff and put it in Diego's paws. The small kitten mewled in her father's hold and crawled closer into his chest. Diego looked down at the cub lovingly.
"She's perfect." He smiled licking his daughter's head.
"What should we call her?" Shira asked.
Diego looked down at his daughter with loving eyes. "I don't know. But she looks like a white lily." He joked, still holding her in his paws. Then something clicked: "Wait, we should call her Lily!" Diego exclaimed.
Shira raised a brow. "Lily?"
"Yes, Lily. Short for Lilyan." Diego smiled.
Shira was silent, then nodded. "I love it." She said.
Diego looked down at his daughter and nuzzled her affectionately. "My sweet Lily." Then he whispered: "I promise I will never let anything happen to you."
All the other mammals were watching the small family with adored gazes, then they left the cave to give them some privacy.

It was some time later, and the new saber family was laying beside each other outside, in front of a warm fire that Sid had made. All the animals sat around the fire.
"So, when is she gonna open her eyes?" Crash asked.
Shira looked down at her daughter. "I don't know. Soon I think."
Diego picked up his daughter and placed her in front of him. "I can't wait for her to see the world." He smiled.
Then as he said those words; Lily slowly began opening her eyes. Everyone shot up from their positions and looked at the cub. "She's opening her eyes!"
Then the small kitten's eyes fluttered open and revealed beautiful emerald green orbs. "Aw." Everyone cooed.
Lily turned her head, only for her eyes to meet a pair of hazel green orbs. Her father. She squeaked in happiness and nuzzled her father's chest. Diego felt a proud smile forming on his face. Then he picked her up and placed her in her mother's paws. Lily looked into her mother's crystal eyes, and mewled brightly, as she licked her mother's muzzle. Shira nuzzled her daughter affectionally.
Then Lily looked down at her paws and tried to stand up, only to fall down. Everyone lightly chuckled. The small cub tried again to stand, and this time she stood up on her legs shakily. Lily looked over at her father and tried to walk towards him, but only to fall. But just before her head hit the ground, Diego placed his muzzle under her chin and kept her up. Lily stood up, and moved towards the saber, stumbling a few times. Then she landed in his paws and giggled. Diego nuzzled her head lovingly and then decided to introduce her to the herd.
"Look Lily;" He said gently. "This is our herd, your new family."
The small saber looked up at all the animals that surrounded her and got scared, so she quickly walked backward and hid in Diego's fur.
"No, no," Ellie cooed. "Don't be scared."
Lily looked up at the mammoth, still clenching her father's fur close. Ellie reached a gentle trunk down towards the cub and carrased her cheek, making Lily feel safe and purr. Lily moved forward and looked at all the animals, then she smiled and squeaked happily.
She was introduced to the whole herd, and she quickly became fond of everyone. But she, of course, felt safest with her mother and father.

It had been two days since Lily was born, and everyone was loving her. She was the most cutest furball they had ever seen. The white cub walked around and played with everyone, and spread happiness all around the herd.
Diego was laying in the sun, taking a nap, but then a small furry creature pounced on the saber, waking him up. He looked backward, only to see his daughter Lily standing on his back, and nibbling his ears playfully.
Diego chuckled, and looked down, causing Lily to fall on her back, eyes up at her father with joy. Diego began blowing raspberries at her white belly, making the small cub giggle and laugh. She got up and nuzzled her father's head, making Diego feel only pure warmth fill his chest. He had never loved anything like this before. Sure he loved his mate Shira, but this cub was his own flesh and blood, something he had created. He had never felt closer to anything. Diego began grooming his daughter, having a hard time containing his affection for her. Lily batted a paw at Diego's muzzle, telling him that she wanted to play. Diego shook his head, but before he could do anything; Lily sprinted out of his embrace and ran around, rolling her back in the snow.
"Aw buddy," Said a lispy voice behind the saber. "Fatherhood really suits ya," Sid said walking over beside him with Manny.
Diego smiled slightly. "Thanks." He said, watching as his daughter was chasing a butterfly.
Then she stopped and moved towards her father.
"Dada!" She suddenly squeaked.
All the mammals' eyes widened. Then a big grin formed on Diego's face.
"S- she called me; dad!" Diego said feeling tears of happiness well up in his eyes.
Manny and Sid smiled. "Congratulations buddy!" Manny exclaimed.
The saber pulled his daughter close and licked her head. "Dada!" She squealed again.
Diego felt only pure happiness, for nothing could be better. His life was perfect.
But what he did not know; was that someone was watching them in the shadows. A female weasel. She smirked and began running away, with an important message to tell her master.

"Master Aiden!" Yelled the weasel as she ran into a dark cave. "I have important news!"
Out of the shadows came an orange-brown saber. "What is it Analia?" He asked in his raspy voice.
"I have found Diego, and he has a newborn daughter!"
Aiden growled. "Diego has a daughter, ay?" He then looked behind him, at the two other sabers he had in his pack. "I hate Diego!" Aiden snarled.
A saber named Alfred stepped forward. "Why do you hate Diego?"
"It is his fault that my father Soto died!" He roared, making everyone flinch. "He took the one thing I cared about the most, away from me! I will avenge my father, I will!" Then he paused and smirked. "And I think I know just how to do it."
The saber Chester raised a brow. "How?" He asked.
Aiden smirked. "His daughter." He rumbled. "Diego would be miserable if he lost his daughter. He would not even see a point in living. I will kill her, in front of him, so he can hear her last screams." He crackled. "Then he would know the feeling. And after I have killed his daughter, I will kill him."
Analia frowned. "But when?" She asked hesitantly because she didn't really like the idea of killing an innocent cub.
Aiden smiled mischievously. "We will wait." He said. "He has to care for her even more, bond with her more,"
The saber paused, and dug his claws in the soil. "And then when the time is right, we strike."
AN: Damn Soto has a son?? And Aiden is out for revenge. This might be a big problem for Lily. Cya in the next chapter to find out what happens.
Bye!
