Hibari Kyoya stood, seething, under a sakura tree. He had been engaged in a fierce battle with Rokudo Mukuro, up until five minutes ago, when he had disappeared all of a sudden, with a barely audible but clearly distinguishable 'Kufufu'. Now he was left alone under that despicable tree, under which blossoms were floating like snowflakes all around him. Having no effort to disguise his anger, he set off at a brisk walk towards Namimori, crushing the flowers beneath his feet as he went. He was determined to continue the battle with the illusionist.
Those at the edge of Namimori brought bad news: Hibari-san was approaching and he did not look happy. Upon receiving this information, most street dwellers melted away at the speed of light. Those who remained on the street looked as if they had been fast-forwarded. The prefect arrived at the streets, black jacket billowing in an ominous way, and starting scouring the area for signs of Mukuro. In doing so, his gaze fell upon a teenage girl who appeared to be shopping with her mother. The woman sneaked a glance at the prefect, turned away hurriedly and broke into a trot, the girl stopping for the space of a heartbeat, and following after her any hesitance, Hibari strode forward, yanked the arm of the girl and dragged her away. She screamed, terrified, and begged for mercy and release. Oblivious to the piercing noise, the cloud guardian pulled at her arm with unneccessary force, heading for a secluded alley. The girl's mother watched helplessly, wanting to cry for help, but who could hear her? Whilst others had vacated the place, she had lingered for just a while longer. Now she was reaping her reward for her foolishness. She was neither strong nor brave enough to confront Hibari, so she left quickly, sobbing and shaking.
Meanwhile Hibari had entered the dim alley, pulling the girl with him. She was still yelling her head off, but as Hibari made a sudden movement she was silenced. He was kissing her, his tongue gently exploring the depths of her mouth. She responded with enthusiasm, gripping his jacket in a vice-like grip, her fingers toying with strands of the raven hair. In doing so Hibari hardly noticed the Chinese symbol appear in the girl's left eye, and he knew even less about the haze engulfing her small figure, and that a body with a head that looked like a pineapple appeared in her place.
Rokudo Mukuro gently released Hibari, saying as he did so, "Kufufu, my Kyoya, how did you know it was me?" The raven looked angry again, but managed to grumble, "I felt your presence, stupid herbivore, what did you expect? And do you think I did not see you hesitate? I can see through illusions..." Mukuro stared at his love for a second or so, then asked, somewhat confusedly,"But how? My illusions are perfect, they cannot be penetrated." The worried look on the mist guardian's face made Hibari want to laugh, but he suppressed the urge by looking away from him and murmuring, "I hate illusions. I thought you knew me, Mukuro-chan..." These words were rudely(or pleasantly) interrupted by Mukuro's lips pressed on Hibari's. "I do know you, Kyoya," whispered the illusionist, a minute later when they broke apart for air. Hibari merely grunted in response, but whispering to himself, "But do you know me well enough?" These words had barely escaped the prefect's lips when the illusionist gently cradled him, leading him into the depths of the dark alley, where the black jacket with the prefect badge on it fell unceremoniously upon the floor, and the same thing happened to Mukuro's jacket.
