This...
is...
bullshit.

Quinn twisted in her seat. Rachel was singing once more, and all that Quinn could think was
"This is not fair."

Rachel faced this Glee assignment like any other-well…on the surface. The assignment was "Women of the 90's" and she sunk her teeth in with abandon.

As always, she had a plan.

A plan that Quinn wanted to kill her for.

Quinn spent her days fairly easily. No one faced her with dire need, she did not share herself with anyone else…..Quinn had an existence apart from.
Until Rachel Berry.

Damn Rachel and her Sophie B Hawkins song.

The Christian girl in Quinn, the ingrained saint that she was really did not like the "damn" part of the song…..but; being the religious type…..she sure knew what being damned was.

She was damned if she didn't.
She was damned if she did.
She was damned in love with Rachel.

She loved that girl…the woman that was Rachel Berry.

Quinn knew verily the minute Derek led the band into the downbeat what the song was.
The minute she heard the subway track, she knew…..she was doomed.

Frannie had the tape Tongues and Tails when she was a kid….and Quinn borrowed that tape and wore it out.
Being a kid on the last gasping cusp of cassette tapes to cds; she always felt a bit bitter that she had missed out on the mix tape craze.

She had been constructing a mix tape for one Rachel Berry since sixth grade.

The minute Rachel sang "that old dog has chained you up all right…" Quinn was seated forward in her chair.

Her dog of a father had chained her for years.

After the scraps of "babygate" had cleared; to Quinn….she lost a part of her…she lost her child.
To her father ; he lost a social rank and had a "stigma" on his family….

Quinn had felt empty.
The only thing that filled that void was Rachel….always Rachel.

Quinn had the constant dream that Rachel was her hero…..

And here Rachel was…singing it.

Quinn knew that the only person that would "rock her til the daylight comes " was Rachel.

But Quinn...she wasn't "like that."
Could NOT be.

And Rachel...

Rachel…. was engaged to Finn.
Rachel…. would never look at Quinn the way Quinn looked at her.

Damn.

Wish I was your lover…

Quinn would open up to Rachel.
If she had an hour to kiss her...

Just then Finn rolled back in his chair...a smirk on his face.

Quinn hated him for that and so much more...

She palmed the tickets for the train in her pocket.

Maybe...

Quinn didn't need a doctor to feel much better.
But if Rachel would have her...maybe a doctor was in order after all.
