She Never Did Hate You
A/N: Just a poem that's rather close to personal experience. I'd say it was from Hermione's POV when Ron goes off with Lavender, but I never like my stuff to be tied to specific characters. Review if it's any good.
All she ever did was love you,
Right from the very start,
But you dangled her on a string,
And dropped her fragile heart.
Now it's smashed, and it's broken,
It lies in shards upon the ground,
Her fragile heart is destroyed,
And is never to be found.
She always said "I hate you",
But could you not see through the facade?
She always was in love with you,
But you failed to see the charade.
You swept her off her feet,
And refused to let her go,
You were so irresistibly charming,
And never let your intentions show.
You took all of her love,
And refused to give it back,
Now she's drained and empty,
With no one to pick up the slack.
You let her think you loved her,
When she was just another game,
You deluded and mislead her,
When she was just another name.
So I hope you're happy,
You've found someone new,
But that girl is all alone,
And will never be over you
You've probably figured it out by now,
That the lovesick girl is me,
And although I'm dying on the inside,
I'll never let you see.
You made me fall in love,
And you made me fall hard,
You made me open up,
And you made me drop my guard.
You made me think I meant something,
I thought that you might care,
But you proved how wrong I was,
When you went off with her.
So my jet black heart will scream and cry,
But you'll never hear a word,
And so I'll sit here all alone,
And you'll never know how much I cared.
