She was falling, falling to the ground. All she could do was cry out even though thinking it was in vain as a tear fell from her eyes, running down her face. Her fear evident in her eyes. All hope was gone in those dark violet orbs of hers.

Desperately, she cried out again but to mo avail. She slowly closed her eyes as if saying goodbye to the world of the living. She was ready to accept her fate.

Suddenly, she felt two hands clasp her wrist and then her eyes suddenly fluttered open. Violet met gray and soon there was a flicker of faith in her eyes. He pulled her up onto his broom all the while his eyes never leaving hers.

She snuggled close to him, afraid that she might fall again. She felt his arms wrap around her waist. She unknowingly relaxed into his touch. In his arms she felt safe. Though it was not the first time she fell,it was the first time she was caught by surprise. Not even a thought passed by,her mind was blank. She held the boy near and sobbed on his chest, all the pain and anger seeping out.

She broke out of the trance she was in as she felt the cold ground beneath her feet. She gasped as she looked up and saw a pair of smoking gray eyes.

How could she forget? How could she be so weak, letting this strange boy hold her like this as she cried?

He was a familiar face. A boy she shared her classes with and of course a Slytherin pureblood.

She racked her head as to remember his name as she pushed him away. It took her a few seconds to figure it out. She straightened herself up and said with an eerily calm voice: excuse me Mr. Malfoy but I must go.

She turned around and walked briskly towards the castle, leaving the gray-eyed boy to stare at her bewildered.
