Yeah that's what I thought

A short story about Geis and Adol...a little bit of GeisXAdol...So don't read if you don't like! Also I do not own any of the characters here or Ys Seven.

"There he is again..." Said the warrior clad in black as he watched three adventurers, one with red fiery red hair and one with blue hair, and a blonde haired girl walk out of the cave. His eyes fixated on the redhead like an eagle to its prey.

"Just as I thought...it is you..." He finally spoke out and the others noticed him.

"That voice! Hey Geis!" Said Dogi. Adol immediately looked at the direction of the voice, surprise apparent in his eyes.

"Yeah me, I haven't seen you in six months Christin." He said glaring at Adol, Adol only gave him a smile. Geis rolled his eyes.

"Hey Master, I think you should admi-"Xisa was about to say before she was cut off by Geis who glared at her with a slight blush on his face. "O-Okay then!" She said, holding back a laugh.

"But let's just get to the point already." He said jumping down from the rock and landing in front of Adol. "Hey Christin, it's been a while hasn't it? Let's fight." Geis said pointing his poleaxe at Adol. Adol only took out his sword with a smile on his face.

"Hmph." Said Geis and they immediately started fighting.

"Agh!" Geis yelped as he fell to the ground defeated. He looked up at Adol who wore a smile and offered his hand. Geis took his hand and just then, he noticed the spark in Adol's eyes. That was the thing with Adol, although he rarely spoke, his eyes did all the talking. It was something that Geis noticed about how Dogi would communicate with him (which was really just Dogi talking and Adol listening and nodding occasionally).

"What are you looking at me like that for?" Geis asked, now nervous. In the distance Xisa, Sera, and Jue smiled an ear-to-ear grin.

"Hehehehe...Adol already figured Master out now didn't he..." Said Jue.

"Indeed, Master is screwed." Smiled Sera.

"Hahahaha! MASTER YOU CAN DO IT!" Laughed Xisa.

"What!?" Geis glared at them and them immediately looked down. Dogi and Aisha ran to Adol.

"Hey what was that about?" Asked Dogi. "Yeah, you don't just do that!" Yelled Aisha.

"It was just a friendly fight." Said Adol in the most silent voice that only Dogi, who could get Adol to talk once in a while, could hear. Dogi was there, with his mouth open and in shock. "A-Adol, man...you spoke! In front of PEOPLE!" He said.

"He spoke?" Asked Aisha with her brow raised.

"Yeah I'm not mute you know and cherish this moment, because this is probably the last time I'm gonna speak ever again. Now Geis, let's have a talk over there" Adol said as he pointed to a spot overlooking the mountains.

"What? I've gotta get going you know?" Snarled Geis. Adol smiled at him, eyes taunting him that he knew something...something SECRET. "What huh? If you want to tell me something, just spit it out already!" He yelled at Adol.

"No Geis, why don't YOU tell ME something. What kind of coincidence is it that we somehow always end up meeting up like this? The store, the church, the forest, hell even now. Don't think I haven't noticed that we always seem to meet up like this. Maybe...call it...fate?...or maybe...you...like..." Adol's eyes teased Geis. HE. KNEW. EVERYTHING. Geis turned as red as Adol's hair but he covered it up by looking away in 'disgust'.

Adol leaned closer to Geis' face. They were so close that Geis could feel Adol's breath."So what is it Geis? Do you have something to tell me?" Asked Adol.

Geis couldn't take it anymore, he was so embarrassed and red and he finally said something."Yeah, fuck you." Geis said as he got up, face all flushed and red, and stormed out of sight.

"Yeah, that's what I thought." Said Adol.
