Cas couldn't sleep. He hadn't been able to since the Fall, three days ago. The Winchester brothers had given him his own room in the bunker, and for each night since Cas had simply sat on the bed and stared at the wall.
Tonight, however, was different. Dean had noticed Cas's ragged, sleep-deprived look, and he'd joined Cas in his room in order to find a way to make the fallen angel sleep. They had ended up lying under the covers together, with Cas cuddled against Dean's chest. Dean had awkwardly put his arm around Cas.
"Dean, your feet are cold." Cas whined once they were settled. Dean sighed.
"I can't fix that, Cas."
"Deeeeaaaan." Cas whined again. Dean narrowed his eyes, then proceeded to rub his feet on Cas's. Cas made a high-pitched squeal and jumped up.
"I thought we were trying to get me to sleep!" He protested, frowning at Dean.
Dean laughed. "Yeah, yeah. I won't do it again." He promised. Cas gave him a suspicious glare before snuggling back into his position next to Dean. This time Dean kept his feet away from Cas, and the fallen angel was able to fall asleep. Dean nodded off soon after, a smirk on his face.
