Harry Potter had left for summer vacation after his 5th year, and was staying with the Weasleys and Hermione. It was a gorgeous summer with lots of quidditch and exploding snap. Harry was having the time of his life, he wasn't told what to do or where to go. He didn't raise the subject of Sirius and Ron and Hermione didn't pursue the topic. They knew he was thinking about it, but as Ron said, "He'll talk when he's ready." Hermione merely raised an eyebrow. She didn't think much of his silence. But they let him have his peace, like good friends do. One morning during breakfast, Mrs. Weasley burst into the kitchen with a smile on her face. "Guess what?" she asked enthusiastically. Everyone looked up. "What Mum? Did you find a way to finally figure a way to get us from the house?" Fred asked with a wicked smile. Mrs. Weasley rolled her eyes. "Not yet Fred. But I'm working on it." The twin's smiles dropped. She turned to the rest. "Today is a perfect day to go to the Synagogue!" "YESS!" Yelled Ron, then turned and gave George a high-five. Harry looked at Hermione. "Hey 'Mione, I never knew the Weasleys were Jewish." She smiled and shook her head. "They're not, but you'll see why they go when we get there." "Floo powder for everyone!" cried Mrs. Weasley, motioning for everyone to gather around the fireplace. Harry took a handful and turned around. "Er, where am I going?" Ron looked up from the button he was trying to fix. "Oh, just yell Synagogue." Harry did, and found himself in a Synagogue. In a moment the rest of the Weasleys and Hermione were behind him. "And now," said the Rabbi croakily, "The obituaries." "This is gonna be cool," muttered Ron, nudging Harry. The Rabbi continued. "Ima Phish, Ura Phish, Lily B. Good, I. Koffalot, Mary Gugenhiemer." The Weasleys, Harry, and Hermione were bent over in silent laughter. "Rover Ruff, and Karp Fisher." The Rabbi finished the obituaries with a cough, and looked up blearily. "Shuel dismissed. Shalom." "I told you it would cheer you up," said Mrs. Weasley.
