DING DONG! Who's there? DEATH.
Chapter 1
Hi! For you guys who don't know me, I'm MKAlza11. This story that your reading- for those of you that don't read summaries- is Nico's point of view from The Titan's Curse through Battle of the Labyrinth. Enjoy! I don't own PJO sadly.
For as long as I can remember, weird things have occurred. Once on a bus, the driver had ram horns. No one else noticed it, though, besides Bianca, my sister. When we were in the Sierra Mountains traveling from Las Vegas to D.C., I swore I saw a lion. Not a mountain lion or anything, but a giant African lion.
My sister and I have been living Maine for the past year, going to Westover Hall. Even though I can't see anything unusual, I feel that something is unusual. The feeling is kind of directed at the vice principal, Dr. Thorn. He just seems too evil for a boarding school official.
Friends are basically a luxury too rich for me. To put it another way- I'm a loner, and the other kids think I'm a nerd and avoid me. Bianca's kind of a loner, too, but she has people that she talks to that don't make fun of her.
My only condolence is this card game I play- Mythomagic. It's like Pokémon, but with Greek gods. I think it's fun, with its little figurines and attack powers, but the other kids just torture me more for it. Well, except for Grover.
Grover is this other nerdy guy who's very interested in me and Bianca. She says that Grover is trying to be nice; I say he's hitting on my sister.
After a few months at Westover, there's a dance going on. I've really never been a dancer, let alone brave enough to ask a girl to dance. So I mostly just hang toward the back with Bianca; her with her floppy green hat and me with my trading cards. Bianca is telling me off for bringing Mythomagic. She says I should try to be social, be normal.
Suddenly, Bianca cuts off in the middle of a sentence.
"I feel as if something's wrong." she states uneasily.
"I've been trying to tell you that for the last three months." I mutter.
I receive a look that tells me now is not the time to prove my amazing powers of intuition.
Grover enters the dance with three people- a girl with electric blue eyes and punk clothes, a boy with black hair, and a girl with long blond hair and grey eyes. They all look to be about 13 or 14. I catch the boy staring at us.
They separate into Grover and punk, and black-hair and grey eyes.
I'm shuffling through my cards when I feel a pinch on the back of my neck.
"You say anything, I will kill you here and now" Dr. Thorn hisses.
Well, I'm obviously not going to scream now. Dr. Thorn leads Bianca and I into a dark hallway, her cap falling to the ground along with a few of my Mythomagic cards.
It's surprisingly easy writing from a guy's point of view. I know the chapter I kind of short, but this is just an introduction. R&R!
