Booth POV
"Come on Bones lets go we have to be at the Hoover early for our appointment with the baby duck." They walked out of the Jeffersonian and into the moon lit night they came to Booth's SUV first. "Well Bones see you tomorrow" "By Booth I love you" as Booth was getting into his car he realized what she had said. She had just told him that she loved him. It wasn't as if he was uncomfortable with that, he loved her, and he had for the past 4 years he just never knew she loved him back. Booth spent the ride back to his apartment thinking about how long they had been partners and everything they had been through together. He knew everything about her childhood and her struggles with her dad and Russ. She had been with him during his brain surgery; she reminded him of whom he was when he lost his memory. If I know Bones he thought she will realize what she said and give me an anthropological explanation and he knew as much as it pained him she wasn't ready yet.
Bones POV
Bones walked to her car thinking about what she just said she had never believed in love, so why had she told Booth she loved him. As she drove home she tried to figure it out, we are colleagues she thought, but so are Hodgins and I. She could hear one of Angela's rants about their "hidden passion." What ever the reason I cant let these feelings get in the way of our partnership.
