A Romione HC

"When are you going to stop being mad at him?"

"I'm always mad at him." Hermione replied. Harry grinned. "What's he done this time?" A heavily pregnant Hermione stood with difficulty. "He's driving me to distraction. This whole pregnancy when he hasn't been doing everything for me insisting I need to rest, he's suggesting names left right and centre," She looked over at Harry. "Stop laughing Harry it's not funny." She said with a smile.

"You know most people would be happy if someone was offering to do everything for them." Harry replied grinning. "Let me ask you something. When did you know?"

Hermione looked at him confused.

"Know what? That I was pregnant?" she asked.

"No...That you were in love with Ron. What were you doing when you first realised that you loved him?" Hermione sat and smiled thinking back. Harry watched her curious to know what she was remembering.

"The summer after our second year. Remember? At the Leaky cauldron. We were fighting because Crookshanks had attacked Scabbers and you walked up behind us," She smiled remembering fondly. "Ron and I fought quite a lot that year." Harry grinned. "Don't I know it. I was caught in the middle. So...Your turn Ron. What were you doing when you first realised you loved Hermione?"

Ron, who had been sitting quietly listening the entire time, looked over.
"Well...It took me a bit longer." He grinned sheepishly. "But I'd say it was when Lavender Brown and I came into that classroom and Hermione sent those birds flying at me. D'you remember? Just before I got poisoned." He smiled. Hermione giggled as she remembered. Harry grinned then burst into hysterical laughter. Ron and Hermione stared at him like he had lost his mind.

"Don't you see?" He said laughing. "You both first worked out you were in love when you were fighting. Which means no matter how bad your fights get, you two are meant to be together." Harry explained still laughing.

"Why is that so funny Harry?" asked an amused Hermione.

"Because you two are constantly fighting and yet you're still together. I'm guessing neither of you knew that was when the other realised their love?" He grinned as they both nodded. "Well there you go...You two work best together when you're fighting."

Hermione and Ron smiled at Harry. He'd been their best friend since they were eleven and they always found it funny that they could come to him with anything and he was usually able to explain it.

Ron moved over and sat next to Hermione. He placed a hand on her stomach. "Well then this kid better be used to hearing us fight because if it's what keeps us together, we'll probably be fighting on and off for the rest of our lives." The three friends burst into hysterical laughter and that was how Ginny, George, Angelina, Bill and Fleur found them an hour later. Sitting in front of a roaring fire laughing like they used to when they had been at school in the common room.
