Unforgiving Loss

"In which you lose someone important to you."

In dedication to: my dad and mom.

I just wanted to say that this does relate a lot to me. My parents divorced and that feeling was horrible. So even if you hate or dislike your parents, you need to appreciate them more. And don't.. don't give me bullcrap about how they didn't buy you this or they wouldn't let you do this, they do that for a reason. But you won't realize how much you love your parents until they're gone. So appreciate them while you still can.

And yes, it's short and simple but expresses a lot of emotion from the heart.

She couldn't accept the fact that their love is gone, a fairytale coming to an end. Her heart crenches and shatters in ways that can't be spoken. A facade is all she can put on but that's what she's been doing this whole time, so what difference did it make?

The tears, oh the precious tears. Her wish could never come true, no matter what. Maybe it's best that nobody would know of her true emotions.

A dream that could never awaken again, for she knew that it's impossible for them to love again. It's not meant to be, and fate wants it that way.

Sometimes she blames it on the kidnapping and even at times, her own self. Yet she knows that things won't be the same. She knows that changes are being made and that she has to move on.

And yet it hit her hard when her father left. There were things she wants to say to him but she couldn't find the courage to speak up. Her ability to trust starts to limit and she knows that they are liars. The promise of a picnic in the park never happens and instead, she receives the news about their divorce.

Liars...

They said they would be a family forever but that promise shatters.

And ever since the divorce, her emotions would pile up and at times she would break down and cry alone, no one to understand the disastrous war that's happening inside of her heart.

However, she knows how love can be painful and maybe that's why she's afraid to fall in love. Just looking at her own parents, the idea of love made her fear. Maybe not today or maybe not tomorrow, but one day she'll learn to love right, that's what she knows. Her parents taught her something even if they didn't know of it. They taught her of raw emotions that she hopes to throw away in the future. For now, she'll continue to be strong, even if she's broken on the inside.
