A/N: Uhhh, yeah. Inspired by a Lion King song sweatdrop I haven't even seen the movie in forever and I had to write this.

The wind blew through the village, leaves following in it's wake. It caressed the trees gently, and the trees responded, shivering in glee. It twirled around, lifting more leaves and the white fluffs of the dandelions.

The flowing air blew around a robed figure, standing at the top of the mountain. He sky blue eyes surveyed the scene below, the peacefulness of the village, the tranquility. He grinned and pulled off the large hat and the wind responded by playing through his bright yellow hair. The leaves danced in front of his eyes, and he calmly caught one, holding it up towards the sun before letting it go to rejoin the others.

The soft smile stayed on his tan face. His golden locks hung over his headband, reaching to his chin. He brushed them back, clearing his vision so he could look over the village again. His to protect, for as long as he wishes.

The wind played across his face, carrying the sweet scent of earth and grass. This was where he belonged. The robes blew open, the fabric moving as to make the flame patter sway, almost as if a real fire had been caught and sewn onto the white. The hat dropped to the ground as he stepped closer to the edge, lifting his arms slightly to let the fast moving air surround him, embrace him.

She stood back and watched as he enjoyed the moment. His dream was finally realized, who was she to stop him? But he had duties, and she called his name softly to get his attention.

He turned and she felt her breath catch. It was almost as if looking into the past. The way the sun created a halo around his frame, lighting his face and causing his sapphire eyes to sparkle. For a moment she thought she had been teleported back in time, before so many terrible things had happened, when he stood just like this on top of the mountain. His hair dancing in the wind, and a small caring smile on his face. He's alive she thought foolishly He never left Everything seemed the same, the hair style and the same azure blue of the eyes. Even down to the clothes and the blue, multi-stoned necklace.

But then she blinked, and the vision faded. She saw the single pendant above the other necklace, the faint marks across the cheeks, and the thin slice through the middle of his headband.

Tears gathered in her hazel eyes, and the smile faded from his face. "What's wrong?" He asked. She just shook her head and smiled, crystalline tears falling from her eyes.

She turned and motioned his to follow. "Nothing." She almost whispered. "He lives in you."

The wind played across his face again as he smiled. It blew up into the sky, and he followed the leaves caught in the current. he could almost see his father's face in the sky, watching over him. "Thank you, Tsunade." he said. Naruto closed his eyes, his face still tilted up towards the sun. "He lives in me..." he whispered to himself.
