Loki hated Valentine's Day. At least, that's what he led everyone at school to believe. He sneered at the flowers, teddy bears, and heart-shaped candies that his friends received from their boyfriends. He scowled, scoffed, and hissed when anyone dared mention the word "Valentine" in his presence. He left his peers with no doubt that he believed this holiday was a silly waste of time.

But it was all an act to cover up the sadness and longing that he felt, to distract him from the aching void in his heart that this holiday was a sharp reminder of. What Loki felt towards Valentine's Day was a reflection of what he felt towards his relationship with Thor.

Loki knew that Thor couldn't be his Valentine. They had to pretend that they were nothing more than brothers, that they didn't share a wonderful intimacy that took them to previously unattainable heights. Loki knew that Thor loved him, but he assumed that Thor didn't have the time to show him that today. Itwas just a silly holiday, after all. Loki should just move on with his life and not get so upset about it.

That's what he told himself when he climbed out of his friend's car after school. It's just a stupid holiday, just a stupid holiday, he chanted in his head, focusing so hard on the mantra that he didn't notice Thor's car in the driveway. He was starting to feel a little better, starting to actually believe the lie he had been telling the world all day.

But that all changed when he entered his room and found Thor lounging on his bed. Thor was surrounded with roses, teddy bears, and boxes of chocolates, and he was wearing nothing but lacy pink lingerie.

Loki froze in the doorway, his mouth hanging open in shock. For once, he was the one who was speechless. He felt heat rise to his cheeks (and to other places as well) at the sight of Thor's solid muscles decorated with dainty lace.

"Loki." Thor batted his lashes and spread his legs to reveal the bulge straining against his pink panties. "Happy Valentine's Day."

Loki pounced on Thor without another word, immersing himself in a world of fragrant roses, soft teddy bears, sweet chocolates. Thor's familiar, musky scent was even more fragrant, his kisses even softer, and the ecstasy of their coupling infinitely sweeter.
