Your flight had landed ahead of schedule and customs had gone quickly. You checked the time on your phone as you hailed a cab and were pleasantly surprised. For once you were running early, with luck you would have time to catch up with Italy before the others arrived for his party. You messaged him to tell him you were on the way and gave the cabbie the address. His house wasn't far from the airport so you the ride was short. When you arrived, you got out of your car and walked up the driveway. As always, the beauty of his home surprised you. It was everything you would expect from a picture-perfect Italian home.
Ringing the doorbell and waited for someone to answer the door.
"Bella! It's so nice to see you. I'm glad you made it!"
"Flew in early for the meeting just so I could be here. You know I can never say no to one of your parties! What about the others nations? Are they all coming too?"
"Everyone is coming, we will have a big party today!"
"That's nice, I don't remember the last time we all got to together for something informal. I worry about some of them and their stress levels." He ushered you through the door excitedly and you observed the nations that had already arrived. The milled about in small groups having lively conversation.
"You know where your room is ( )."
"Oh yeah, thanks."
He waved to you as you headed upstairs to your familiar guest room. You wasted little time unpacking your things before changing into some comfortable clothes and rejoining the party. Just walking down the stairs you could already see that a lot of people had arrived in your absence. A low murmur of conversation echoed off the walls and someone had turned up the stereo in the other room. Entering the crowd, you searched out familiar faces but before you could get very far you were cornered by France, Spain, and Prussia.
"It's been a while ( ), how are you chica?"
"I'm fine and it hasn't really been that long Toni."
"It's been long enough, you never visit."
"I may not be a country but I am still very busy you know?"
"How can you be too busy to visit us?" They were getting too close for comfort and you backed away slightly.
"Ok, want do you want?"
"Want? We don't want anything mon amour."
"No, really there is always something."
"We just wanted to pay a game. Something fun, Seven Minutes in Heaven perhaps?"
"Hell no, you remember last time? I am not getting involved in this again."
"Come on your acting like someone dies or something ( ). Besides everyone is here this time."
"Everyone meaning?"
"Our 2p's and the girls." You raised a skeptical eyebrow.
"Just this once please?" They gave you puppy dog faces that, coming from grown men, were quite disturbing.
"Fine, but you need to convince the others. I will have no part in your scheme."
"But it's not a scheme." They chorused together.
"With you three it is always a scheme when there is a closet involved." You escaped them before they could talk you into anything else.
You made you way over to the bar and poured yourself a drink. You would need it at the rate this party was going. A few drinks later you heard the music stop and rolled your eyes. Surely this was the beginning of the end. You followed the flow of people into the living room and found an unoccupied couch cushion to sit on. When the room was full and somewhat silent you watched as a hat was passed around. A few of the nations glanced around nervously obviously remembering the previous disastrous games but no one argued. The really issue with this game was the limited number of females in attendance. Even with most of the male nations female counterparts you felt outnumbered.
The hat made its way to where it had started and Prussia handed it to Italy who jumped up happily. You weren't surprised that they had convinced him to help out and suspected they were relying on his cuteness factor to keep anyone else from protesting.
"Let's Seven Minutes in Heaven! Everyone knows the rules, right?" He didn't wait to see if anyone was unfamiliar. You watched suspiciously as France whispered something in Italy's ear and pointed in your direction. "This was ( )'s ideas so she gets to go first." A handful of nations looked at you surprised.
"This was not my idea." Despite your obvious protests, Italy skipped over and held out the hat.
"Pick ( )." You leveled your glare at the three standing behind Italy, reached into the hat and pulled out…
