Hello there! It's my first attempt to write and English is not my first language, so go easy on me.

It's about Kensi and the Afghan story arc. Please, feel free to review and give me ideas! ;D

Disclaimer: I own nothing but the things/characters you didn't saw on your tv.

"So, Blye, how would you describe home?" the NCIS angent Carter asked her. They were trying to have a conversation since they recieved an order to stay in due the threats of a attack. The five agents decided to play this describe game, and she was so bored that decided to give it a try.

"This one is though, guys…" she was struggling to answer.

"What is so dificult about it? Just do it, without thinking!" complained the agent Korn.

"Fine. I'll try." she wasn't sure how to do it, in her mind she had a perfect picture of it but it was really hard to put it in words, still, she decided to just play along.

"Home to me is like the ocean, but not just any ocean, a particular one. Like, with those shades of blue all shining that makes every problem goes away. And the scent, it's own scent. You know you're home when you see those exact shades of blue and that comforting scent of your own particular ocean. Nowhere else has this perfect combination but home." Kensi said.

She wasn't sure if they would understand, but for her it was the best description that home could get. To her, those ocean-blue orbs that could read her like an open book, make her legs feels like jelly, and gave her butterflies in the stomach were the right blue combination to that one and only shaggy-scruffy-ocean scent.

For her collegues, maybe it was a generical explanation. But they didn't know how meaningful and how accurate that description was. They didn't know, but Kensi just described home, Kensi just described Deeks.
