He's watching me again. He, as in the transparent boy who looks strangely similar to me, only his features are sharper than mine, not as soft as my own face. His eyes seem to lace into my figure as I stand completely still, waiting for him to lift his gaze, or even to speak to me. I don't know what or who he is. I just know that he appears sometimes and scares the living shit out of me when he does.

He looks like he wants to say something, because his mouth is twitching and his crimson eyes turn less cold looking. He almost looks approachable. Almost.

After what seems like endless hours of just staring at each other, he finally begins to move. His figure loosens as if he's figured out I'm not a threat, while his mouth cracks into the slightest of smiles. And then it happens. He starts laughing. Laughing so hard I think for sure he's going to wet his pants. The sound of his laughter sounds exactly like mine, yet it sounds different somehow, deeper than mine. But maybe it's just me not used to hearing my own laughter being thrown at me.

"W-what's so f-funny?" I stutter like a scared little child.

His chuckling immediately stops as he realizes I have just spoken to him. He is really starting to freak me out.

"Why, us of course!" he grins like he thought I should have known that.

"U-us?" Damn that stuttering again.

He simply nods his head, making his tricolor hair swish lazily to the side.

"I don't understand," I step backwards subconsciously, "Who are you? Why do you look like me?"

He goes back to staring at me with those crimson eyes of his again for the longest time. Then the spell is broken as he smirks and flops down on the couch, which doesn't even indent since he's some kind of ghost.

"I," he began, "am you and you are me."

I blink in utter confusion which seems to annoy him immensely.

"Well, technically I'm the darker part of you. The other half of your soul." he studies my reaction to this as he continues, "As for why we look alike…why would we look different if we are two in one?"

I shrug, suddenly feeling a bad vibe, and back away from him.

"And what do y-you want?"

A shiver runs down my spine as a shadow crosses over his face. His lips pull into an evil smirk. And his eyes practically glow red. I have a feeling his slack, laughing personality was just a show compared to what he's normally like.

"Our body."

I bolt as soon as he says this, not knowing what to do, but having enough sense to get away from him. My heart hammers against my chest as I sprint to the front door and throw it open. There is nothing else I can think of, but to get the hell out of that house.

"You cannot run…" the ghost's voice whispers in my head. "We are two in one…remember? And I think it's time that darkness takes control."

As he says this my body slowly starts to freeze. Everything goes numb and without control of my body, I fall helplessly to the ground. I try to move my hands or even try to blink, but my bones seem to have become paralyzed. I scream and cry frantically inside my mind. This has to be a joke. A dream, even. You don't just talk to a ghost and have the ghost declare he wants your body. It doesn't happen in reality.

But as blackness sucks me from my body, I can only hope that I'm dreaming, even though somewhere in the back of what used to be my mind, I know this is the end.

If you haven't guessed ...Yami is the creepy ghost guy who wants control over Yugi's body. And Yugi is obviously the eyes and thoughts of this story. Hope you liked!
