That's How You Spell Friendship

I left my friends behind. I left my brother. I left my best friends. I left my life.

I don't believe that I actually did that. Gabumon and I were walking in a forest. We just helped the group defeat Puppetmon. But they don't need me. I know, like Izzy said, that my crest's trait is Friendship, but is that all? Friendship is a very strong word. It can lead to love, if wanted. But, we're not talking about Sora, holder of Love. We're talking about me. Yamato Matt Ishida. Holder of Friendship.

Tai and I always fought. I knew that I was setting a bad example for my little brother, T.K., but, oh God, Tai was so stubborn! But he had his strong points, though. And Joe. He stopped Tai and I from arguing about climbing Infinity Mountain. Mimi, Sora, and Kari all think of me as "the cool guy". Izzy is always trying to out the pieces together about me. Figures. T.K., my brother younger than me by three years, looks up to me as a super hero.

Super Yamato Matt Ishida. I can only imagine it now.

That's how you spell friendship. Trusting people and, well, hanging out with them. But one of my greatest friends is Gabumon. He helped me see the true me. I was thinking about re-joining the group when suddenly, Gabumon spoke up.

"Matt? Are you upset about something?" he asked. Usually, I would have replied "no", but this was a different story. He looked at me as if he knew what the reply will be. Poor guy.

"Actually, yeah." Gabumon looked surprised. "I feel horrible. I just left the group. And I dragged you along with me. I left my friends, and forced you to leave your friends. You don't deserve me as your Digidestined partner, and I don't deserve T.K. or the crest of Friendship." I said. Gabumon looked at me, and then slapped me. "Matt, get a hold of yoursefl! You didn't force me to leave! I was meant to be your Digimon partner, and I go where you go." I looked at him. He's pretty smart. "Thanks for slapping sense in to me, Gabumon." I said. "And I have one thing I would like you to do for me." said Gabumon. I looked at him. "Can you play your harmonica?" I smiled. I took it out, and began to play.

As I finished, Gabumon looked at me. "Ready to go?" he asked. I nodded. I held up my Digivice. It became a dark blue and the buttons became white. It also began to vibrate. "Gabumon! Warp Digivolve to...MetalGarurumon!" I climbed on to MetalGarurumon and played my harmonica. That's how you spell friendship.
