Don't own don't sue.

I just wrote this for fun so it's pretty bad but still...

The clear tone of a bell rings in the night

Startled birds take flight

All is quiet. The calm before the storm

Suddenly an anguished scream rents the air

The sleeping world thrown into waking

Running feet, frightened calls of those left living

The scream of a stallion mingling with the weeping of a broken man

Cries of rage chasing after the one who has caused their pain

A feral beast unleashed, stalking his pray

His blade crying for blood

The thunder of hooves on the forest floor

An unearthly howl carried on the wind

Speeding heart, gasping breathe urging him on

A clearing before the murderer

No place to hide, moonlight flashing off of cold steel

Desperate pleading, sudden silence

Another howl, this one a cry of victory

Slowly returning to the ones he protects

Climbing down he tells them of renewed safety

Warm arms wrapping around him

A gentle voice whispering words of comfort

Slow sleepy minds returning to the land of dreams

And a church bell ringing

Heralding a new, dawn, a brighter day.
