McGonagall was standing up straight as she spoke loudly over the crowd, "Dames, Asteria!"

This had to be one of the most terrifying moments in her life. She took a deep breath, walking to the stool and sitting down, wincing when the hat touched her head.
In her head, she heard a slightly snide male voice, Ah, I see. One who would normally be put into Slytherin, but. . .you don't want that, do you? She bit her lip, shaking her head as she thought. Within moments, it seemed that everyone would explode from the curiosity. She sighed, bowing her head as she accepted her fate to be in Slytherin, just like everyone had told her that she would be. Then, she heard the hat shout to the group, "GRYFFINDOR!"

Oh, wow! She grinned as she thanked it. It didn't have time to respond, as it was taken off her head. She ran to the Gryffindor table, her smile wide as she chuckled giddily. This was going to make the school year so much easier for her!

She looked, seeing Professor Dumbledore looking right at her, frowning.

What did she do?
