Red hair blew in the light breeze as the flowers bloomed all around the teenager dressed in a flowing green dress. A rather loud bark came from behind the trees of the forest. The green eyed redhead looked over at the direction the noise can from. A large black dog with three heads snarled at a small rabbit and chewed on a few flowers. "Hey!" She yelled a few birds became silent after the girl yelled. Six large red eyes became fixed on the redhead causing her to gasp. The rabbit jumped over to her and sat near her bare feet. "Please go g-go away and stop scaring off the wildlife, please." The large dog made no sign of leaving and snarled at her.
"Cerberus, leave." A very cold and scary presence darkened the forest. The rabbit jumped into its home to hide. The redhead closed her eyes as perspiration ran down her cheek. She turned on her heel and tried to shoot the intruder her most effective glare.
"This isn't your domain." She thanked the earth that her voice remained steady. She refused to look directly in the eyes of the man, instead focusing on his black amour and staff. "You're killing the flowers." She watched as the grass and daisies turned black and fell lifelessly onto the soil. Everything around the man was dark and dead.
"You're very brave or very stupid."
"I'm not brave." She hung her head. "I'm not smart like Athena or pretty as Aphrodite."
"You needn't be you do useful things, while they quarrel on Olympus."
"Why does everyone fear you?" The man merely shook his head, stepping closer to the nature woman.
"Such innocence." He ran his fingers over the redhead's jaw. He caught her limp body as tiredness washed over the goddess. Brushing her fiery hair from her face he looked down at her pale skin and rose-red lips. "Persephone, you're mine now."
Every shadow in the forest melted together and wrapped around Hades and his soon-to-be wife. In a split second the pair disappeared to the Underworld. A small white snow flake fell from the sky and landed on the soft, green grass.
Winter was beginning.
