Ivypool looked down and gazed at her home, Thunderclan camp, a place usually comforting to her, but now Ivypool was filled with uneasiness and knew something was horribly wrong. She didn't see any of her clan members, smell any familiar clan scents, or hear any of the regular busy clan sounds.

"That's strange," she thought, as worry surged up inside of her.

"What happened to the clan, they wouldn't just leave suddenly?"

Ivypool felt a rush of worry for her sister Dovewing, but she pushed it aside.

"Dovewing's a grown warrior, she can take care of herself,"

Suddenly the ground beneath Ivypool's paws began to shake. She stepped back and gasped in horror as the ground she was standing on only a moment ago crumbled and fell. Suddenly she saw it rushing through the trees.

"The river! It must have flooded and burst!"

The water poured in, destroying the only home Ivypool had ever known. Then the water stopped and everything was quiet, no birds chirping, no wind blowing, nothing. The kind of quiet that makes you feel uneasy. It started to rain, not water, blood, warrior blood, and not just Thunderclan, blood from all the clans.

"The battle between The Dark Forest and Starclan is coming Ivypool," she heard a familiar voice say.

"Jayfeather ? Is that you?"

"Yep."

"What are you doing in my dream, and why are you looking at things, aren't you supposed to be blind? And why do you have some stupid stick with scratches on it!"

"Ok first of all I can see in dreams, and my stick is not stupid! It's very special."

"Get out of my dream! Your ruining it!"

"Fine this dream sucks anyway! Raining blood! How unrealistic is that!

"It's metaphorical, now get out!"

"Whatever, Ivypool, just a pick a side. It's either Dark Forest or Starclan. Hurry up and make up your mind before everyone starts killing each other!"

"I already picked a side mouse-brain! If I wasn't on Starclan's side then why would I be spying on the Dark Forest?" Ivypool yelled, as Jayfeather padded away.

But, somewhere in the back of her mind, Ivypool wondered if her loyalties really did lie with the clans.

"Did I really choose a side or is that just what I keep telling myself?"
