I stood looking over the edge of the cliff; the water was violently crashing against the sharp rocks below. 'Don't do this Bella.' I heard Edwards's voice in my ear.

"It's the only way you'll stay with me." I said back

"Bella what are you doing?" I heard Jacob's voice from behind me. "Are you crazy the waves are to high you'll kill yourself." He said before I could even answer.

"I just wanted to see something." I glanced back to where Edward was standing, he was gone, I stepped back from the edge realizing Jacob was right.

"Come here." he said pulling me into a hug. Just then a rain storm blew in right over us, by the time w had made it to my truck I was completely soaked.

"God its cold." I said shivering.

"108 degrees over here." Jacob said motioning me over. "Better?" he asked as I pressed myself against his body.

"Yeah," we didn't really say much to each other until we got back to my house.

"Bella we need to talk." Jacob said before I could get out of the truck. "What were you doing out there on the cliff? And tell me the truth." He asked.

"Cliff diving."

"Cliff diving? In the middle of the night, come on Bella I'm smarter than that."

"You really wanna know the truth?"

"Yes."

"Fine, every time I do something reckless and dangerous I see him. I know it sounds crazy but that's the truth." Jacob didn't say anything for a second he just kind of looked at me like I was crazy.

"Bella, I know that you loved him and still do but Bella he's not coming back. Your going to have to get over him some time."

"I know." I could feel a tear roll down my cheek. Jacob reached up and whipped it away, his warm hand felt nice against my cold cheek. I wasn't used to a warm touch every time Edward touched me it was cold.

"I'm sorry Bella."

"Thanks Jacob, for everything you've been great, more than great you've been amazing." He pulled me into a hug and then out of nowhere he presses his warm lips against mine. For the first time I wasn't kissing cold dead lips.

"Sorry I shouldn't have done that." He said pulling away and started opening the door.

"No, its fine, it was nice not to kiss cold lips for once."

"I need to go." He said quickly and jumped out of the truck and headed down the road, leaving me sitting in the truck by myself.
