I laughed. I didn't know why I laughed. It seemed like the gut thing to do. I could feel everyone staring at me, and yet I couldn't stop laughing.
"Could you actually quit it?" Kelly moaned.
"Um, I don't think I can, actually." My Irish tongue announced.
"I'm pretty sure you could if you tried." Barry muttered.
Oh, everyone was so hilarious today. I think it must have been the joy of being alive. It was making me giddy. I was giddy with the joys of life. How lame. I stopped laughing.
"Come on, Barry, you over react." I sighed, rolling my eyes.
"It's not over reacting. That's not even my name! You still don't know my name!" he muttered, his eyes flaring slightly.
"Whoa there," I stuck my hands out comically, "No need to get angry. Don't punch me!"
I laughed, "Oh wait, wrong guy!"
"Prick." Curtis murmured, Alisha rolling her eyes.
"Well I don't know what you're rolling your eyes at!"
"Why are you such a prick?" Kelly said in her, well, really rather unattractive voice.
I wouldn't even know what to describe it as. It wasn't even human.
"You know, you have the most hilarious sounding voice I've ever heard."
"This is what I mean! You're an asshole, Nathan!"
"Well maybe I should go somewhere that my artwork is truly appreciated!"
I disappeared through the door, Kelly watching as I did so. I had no idea where I was going.
I broke into a run as I reached the road that lead to the rows of suburban houses. Half way down I stopped running. Why the hell would I even run? I stood bent over, hands on my knees, panting as I regained my breath.
Time to work out which house I was going to break into.
