BREAKFAST FOR A PRINCESS
DISCLAIMER
Belongs to Disney. I only own the plot. Once again, I'm not sure how they do things at Princeton, so I'm making stuff up. I only own the plot and characters you don't recognize. I use a line from the movie.
Austin Ames gave his student i.d. to the woman at the register and she swiped it. When that was done, he took it back and got a to-go box. Then, he went into the cafeteria and got an assortment of food. When he was finally finished, he walked out. Meanwhile, Sam Montgomery was in her cottage, looking in the mirror, trying to decide how to fix her hair. Her roommate, Gwen Lanier, moved about the room.
"Hey, we better get a move on if we want to make breakfast," Gwen commented.
"Yeah, I know," Sam agreed. "But I just--I have no idea how to do my hair," she complained, as she tried it another way.
"Does it really matter? Austin will love it any you put it," her friend reminded her.
"That's true," the girl chuckled. Just then, they heard a knock.
"I'll get it," Gwen said, and headed for the front door. "Hey, Austin," she greeted a moment later.
"Hey, Gwen. Is Sam still here?" Austin queried, as he set the drink down.
"Yeah. She's trying to figure out what she wants to do with her hair," Gwen responded. Then, "Hey, Sam! Lover Boy's here!" There were groans and moans from the other rooms and Austin chuckled. A few minutes later, Sam walked up to them.
"Hey. What brings you here?" she questioned.
"Brought you breakfast," he responded, opening the box to reveal donuts and cookies.
"Wow. You really are Prince Charming," Gwen noted. Then, "Ooooh! Chocolate Chip!" She tried to snag a cookie, but the ex-football player was too fast for her. She gave a mock pout and then headed back to her room. Sam bent down and picked up the cup.
"Austin, what is this?" she asked in confusion.
"Well, you've been working so hard, with your classes, and the diner back home, and I figured you deserved a treat," he responded.
"You rock, Austin," she told him. He laughed and they sat down, and started to eat.
