A/N - Hello. This one is a little different. I really wanted to create another story, so I thought of a prompt. I remember reading a part in another fanfic called "Heartbeats" by DreamRain-Letters, when a photograph of Ed was described. So that links in with my little prompt too. Thank you!

Anyway, without further ado. On with the story.

Disclaimer - I don't own Fullmetal Alchemist.

You used to say you loved photos,

But never wanted one taken.

You used to state their beauty,

But never with you in them.

You'd shy away behinds others,

And let them take all the glory.

Because the scene of you in photos,

You only saw as gory.

Once the camera caught you!

And snap went the light.

You didn't know what to do,

So instead you took flight.

"Round and round the garden, like a teddy bear."

You ran around the garden just like the teddy bear.

You ran and ran and ran until your lungs ran out of air.

We had no idea, how we were being so unfair.

I sprint to your side,

As you collapse to the ground.

You said you hated all those photos,

Because they made you feel bound.

I sat there in silence,

Unsure of what to say.

But you lightly punched my arm,

And told me everything was okay.

"Your brother's waiting" I say,

As we entered the lobby.

You give him a smile,

Even though it was sloppy.

He races over to hug you.

"Why'd you run?" He asks,

As your smile facades.

"Because I don't want to be trapped,

In a frame for decades."

"I'm sorry for your body,

And horrid memory I gave you.

That night was a stamp,

And the imprint was blue.

I promise to return.

This time I won't let us burn.

Because the us in those frames.

Burned like my watch's glint,

In the flames.

Did I do good? Feel free to comment your thoughts. ALSO! Please suggest what you think the poem was about. It would be awesome to know how the writing came across to you as readers.

Thank you, and until next time!
