You are most wonderful, precious, lovable;
Sustain the air with your precious smell.
It is you Rose, pass by hour by hour
Cannot reach you because you are
Unfathomable to reach
Like the stars, so remote and solemn,
Strike awe through our heart
How we wish to get close to stars,
When we do we are blinded by the pure light and majesty
We forget the fourth state
Beyond the reach of the commoner three states
We forget that we will vaporize near a star
Especially a star named Scorpius.
We forget in the rose's fragrance that it has thorns
That it will bleed you and tug on your flesh
Especially a rose called Rose.
Their respective remoteness must have drawn them together
Both always alert about their limitations
They cannot be too close to each other,
Or else the rose will vaporize and the star will bleed;
They remain distant and beautiful and together.
When the time comes for the star and flower to separate
They will, and have the rest of the community to fall at their feet
I alone will have witnessed the attraction of the two majesties of nature.
