Not at all based on History, thus I'm going to use their human names, in case anyone might get offended.

My English sucks ._. I'm really not good at English so please pardon all my grammar mistake and weird sentences!

It was biting cold, painfully freezing; Wang Yao brought his brothers and sister out to play in the snow.

Kids, they love everything don't they.

As much as Yao really wants to go home and camp in front of the heater, if his younger siblings want to play, he would follow and forget all about how cold the winter that year is.

"Be careful not to run too far away aru! YONGSOO! DON'T DO THAT TO YOUR SISTER ARU!"

Yao has decided to find a nice frozen tree to sit against. He's too old for games like snowball fights.

"So cute aru… I really love them all aru…"

"Will you love me too?"

"E-EH?!"

Yao turned around to see a young boy with short light blonde hair standing beside him. He was wearing torn clothes; a scarf that looked like it has been used to wipe all the windows you can find on earth. The shoes he wore was extremely terribly sewn, with loose threads and holes that shown the red and almost bleeding toe of his.

"Aiya! Don't you feel cold? Come over here aru!"

Yao unbuttoned his outer coat, pulled the boy close to his chest and wrapped him with the unbuttoned coat. Hugging him tight, he asked

"What's your name?"

The adorable young boy looked up at Yao with his shining violet colored eyes and answered "Ivan… I'm called Ivan… aru!"

"AIYA Don't imitate the way I speak aru!"

"It's cute… What's your name?"

"I'm Wang Yao aru. Where are your parents? Why are you left all alone out here aru?"

"My parents… I have no idea… It's cold… "

"Poor you… are you an orphan? … I have some biscuits aru! Are you hungry?"

Yao clumsily dug out a pack of pineapple biscuits and passed it to the poor child, who grabbed it and stuffed everything down his throat

"Thank you Yao-kun… This is the best meal I ever had in my life…."

"No worries aru!" Yao planted a sweet gentle kiss on the child's forehead, leaving him blushing. The blonde child then ran off

"E-EH WAIT ARU! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?"

Yao then never met that child again, no matter how many times he went over to the snow field with his siblings.

Or at least that's what he thought.

Years later, war broke out. With his family either captured or murdered, hungry and tired Yao walks, in that same field

He finds that same tree he loved to rest against, and sat near it as usual. Slowly with his blood-stained hands, he took a photo of his family out.

Murdered, captured, raped.

What is war?

Why did it happen?

Why must we suffer?

Why must I suffer?

It was winter, and it was freezing cold. Yao did not wear his fur coat, he did not wear his leather boots, and he didn't have time to grab his favourite pineapple snack before running out of the house,

far away from those cruel, ruthless and cold blooded soldiers.

"I miss my family… I really do aru…"

"Did you, miss me then?"

Yao looked up to see a tall, blonde man with violet eyes looking down at him. He was well dressed with a nice scarf and thick clothes that would keep him warm even in the coldest winter.

"Don't you feel cold? You do don't you?" The taller man kneeled down in front of Yao, unbuttoned his coat, pulled Yao close to his chest and wrapped him with the unbuttoned coat. Hugging him tight, he asked

"Do you remember me?"

Yao slowly closed his dull, lifeless gold eyes. He was so tired of all the fighting. He was so tired of all the damage. He just wanted to give up

"Yes I do aru… and thank you…"

Ivan then slowly and gently, let go of Yao, lifted his chin and gave him a kiss

That kiss he has been trying to return.
