AN: Another short fluffy 8059 one-shot. Again types out by my sister, Angel Kiss Hikari, who also helped me with the idea. I hope this one gets the same positive response my previous one did.

Thank you Reborn

Yamamoto had thought that that day would be like any other. Boy, was he wrong.

It wasn't normal for all eyes in the room to be on him and Gokudera. It wasn't normal that he couldn't use his usual laugh to divert their attention. And it certainly wasn't normal for Gokudera to come running into the classroom wearing only his boxers.

He'd been talking with Tsuna while waiting for the teacher to arrive when all of a sudden the classroom door swung open and Gokudera came running in, in nothing but his boxers and a red dying will flame on his head. It was pretty obvious what had happened. Reborn had shot Gokudera with one of his dying will bullets. Now it was just a question of what Gokudera would do.

Yamamoto expected him to ask Tsuna if he could be his right hand man. But that didn't happen. Gokudera came to an abrupt halt in front of him and blurted out three words. "I love you."

Time seemed to slow down then for Yamamoto. He saw how slowly Gokudera's expression changed. The determination faded and was replaced by the calm look Gokudera usually wore. Then that look also changed. Gokudera's eyes grew to almost comical proportions. His mouth fell open as realization hit him. He'd just confessed to his best friend. And if that wasn't bad enough he'd done it in front of all their classmates. In his boxers.

The silence in the room was suddenly broken. Friends started to discuss what had just happened in hushed tones. And Gokudera did the only thing he could think of. He ran.

Or at least he tried to, but before he could reach the door he felt a strong hand grab his arm. He tried to shake it off, but couldn't.

He then turned around, ready to punch the idiot who held him only to come face to face with his crush.

Yamamoto heard how the entire class held their breath when Gokudera looked at him.

"I love you too."
