'Ello, once again, my faithful...um...reveiwers. I am not in a creative mood today. The fact that I just had two finals and a 100-question test might be why, too. I just seem to be crankin' out these one-shots never-the-less, don't I?

I really should explain the '# 14' part in this, shouldn't I? Well, see, I was feeling uncreative one day and the plot bunny pickings were slim, so I wrote a list of sayings, expressions and Americanisms for inspiration. And this happened to be # 14 on my list. So, yeah. Enjoy.

Disclaimer: Isn't it funny how everyone seems to try and make their disclaimer humorous? I'm guilty of doing this as well, but...So...MLR does not belong to me. I take no profit out of making this...fic. Ta-dah.

# 14: A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing

- - - - - - -

He did not belong. Here, on the playing board- ready to be played. A pawn.

He was the player- not the played.

He was a King among Pawns.

He was a God among Mortals.

He was a Wolf among Sheep.

Loki was not one to follow orders, and he wasn't about to heed them.

But for now, he would have to play the part- a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Alas, the sheep were unaware.

Yay...finally got 'round to posting something.

Oh, by the way, this fic was inspired by Kia Vail-Kagami's fic 'The Geometry of Shadows'. More specifically, Ch. 3, 'On the Abyss'. Thanks a bunch for it and you all should definately check it out!
