What an odd little story...I don't even know if it makes sense, but it's a story!! Yeah, I wrote something...ish? Go me!! Please read and review, love to all!
Chandler remembered going to see Groundhog Day the day it opened.
Bill Murray frustrated, how could they go wrong?
And they hadn't, they had gone very right and Chandler had come out of the cinema satisfied, amused and hungry.
Years later, he could only relate to the movie, not be amused. His life, his job; his dead end job. . .
He felt like he was stuck in a time loop, one that he couldn't get out of. He'd tried once, but having purpose in life paled when compared with a money hike, he'd found.
Chandler had been younger then; stupid and how he'd give anything to be in that position again . . .
But he couldn't quit. As much as he wanted to, he couldn't. It was too hard, the act, the consequences, the liability. What would he do?
He could write . . . he'd always wanted to write.
But it seemed all too flaky, especially at this point in his life when money and family were almost expected.
Who would feed Joey?
Chandler supposed he was stuck in this loop for now. Maybe one day he would see his shadow and it would all be over.
He hoped it happened soon. He missed watching Bill Murray and laughing . . .
