"I'm not sure why I came here," Regina said.

"Presumably you are here because you need something – maybe you need help, maybe you need someone to talk to or someone to listen. You tell me, why did you make this appointment?" Archie asked.

Regina was standing by his window looking out at the street below. She really wasn't sure what had possessed her to come see the cricket – Archie she corrected herself mentally. Emma wouldn't be happy if she referred to him as a cricket. And there it was again – these thoughts she had been having lately. It seemed like she was not capable of doing anything without thinking of whether or not Emma would be upset with her.

The day before she had been walking and one of those dwarves had bumped into her. For a few seconds she thought about calling upon her magic and burn him to a crisp, but then she thought about how Emma would react.

The week before while teaching Emma magic she had gotten frustrated, angry even but somehow she ended up apologizing to her for pushing her too hard.

Regina sighed and turned back to Archie.

"This can't go any further than you and me."

"Of course. That is how this works,"

She paused.

"I think I am in love and I don't know how to deal with it."
