Snow took a seat on the bench next to Emma.

"Thanks for coming," Emma said. She was leaning forward with her elbows on her knees.

"Of course I came," Snow said smiling at her. "I am your mother and if something has you upset I want to help."

"That's just the thing. I need to talk to someone, but I don't want to talk to you, or rather I don't want to talk to Snow White, my mother. I want to talk to Mary Margaret, my friend. Do you think you can do that?"

Snow looked at her in confusion, but smiled again. "I was Mary Margaret for 28 years, I think I can handle it."

Emma said nothing at first, and Snow let her remain silent, knowing Emma would speak to her when she was ready.

"Last night, I sort of had a um … one night stand. I don't even know if I should call it that. I mean we had been building toward it for quite a while and last night, it just happened. And it was … it was more than I have ever experienced before. It was beyond amazing. But this morning, I um … I left. I snuck out. Now I don't know what to do. What do you think I should do?"

"Well, do you feel ashamed?"

"No!" Emma said. "That's not it. I just … I don't want it to be a one night stand."

"Oh and you are afraid he doesn't want something more."

"I have no idea and that is what I am afraid of. I left this morning because I was afraid it would be I don't cold, that's not the right word, but it's like I didn't want to be told to leave."

"Emma, running away isn't going to help. You know this. If you don't want to be a one night stand then you need to confront him. You need to be honest with him and tell him how you feel. He is either going to want something more or he won't. Either way you will know for sure."

Emma looked at her. "You're right. I know you are. Thanks,"

"Go. Go talk to him."

"Yeah, I should," Emma said standing. "Thanks again."

Emma started to walk away when Snow stood up. "Wait. I thought last night you were having a magic lesson with Regina."

Emma smiled. "It was magic."
