Hi guys! This is my first story on FanFiction! I hope you guys like it!
"Maxon! Come see your daughter! Or should I say, soon-to-be-Queen!" America says anxiously as she holds her newborn little girl.
"Oh my! America, she's beautiful! What should we name her?" Maxon says shocked to see that his daughter is so beautiful.
"It's not just her, we have a boy too. Their twins!" America says excitedly as she holds her husband's hand. "But what should we name them?"
"What about Daphne?" he says, remembering his first crush, Daphne, Princess of France.
"Why that name?" America asked, suspiciously.
"No reason, just a pretty name." Maxon responds, knowing that he probably was caught lying.
"What about May? After my sister, of course." America says, happily.
"Amberly is a unique name and a good name for a princess. It was my mother's name, America." Maxon says, reminiscing his kind mother.
"Yes, it is, but I think we should make it more unique." America replies, with a hint of confidence that Maxon will find the perfect name.
"I know! Eadlyn! That's the name!" Maxon rejoices.
"Maxon...it's perfect!" America cries, and cuddles her daughter, Eadlyn.
"Now, what about for the boy?" Maxon asks.
"Shalom? It was my father's name." America asks, but then wonders if it is a good name for her son.
"I'm sorry, but your father didn't have quite a name fit for a prince." Maxon says.
"You're right. How about Clarkson? After your dad?" America asks, but then realizes that Maxon wouldn't like that.
"I do not want my son to be named after a horrible king." Maxon says angrily.
"Oh! How about Ahren? And we can spell it: A-H-R-E-N." America says after a few minutes of thinking.
"What a wonderful name, America!" Maxon says, relieved.
A nurse walks into the room as America and Maxon had just finished giving names to their children.
"Your Highness?" the nurse says as she walks through the door.
"Yes?" America says wondering why the nurse is here.
"Unfortunately, we found out that your son is seven minutes older than your daughter. Your son will be heir to the throne.
"Oh, thank you for informing us." America says, a little surprised. She had it all planned in her head. 35 suitors. 1 princess. She wanted her daughter to be the heir so that the country could have their first Selection that a girl would be the one who everyone was fighting for. But now, it goes back to the usual. 35 girls. 1 prince.

Amber
It's Friday, and that means the Report is on tonight. I love hearing Ahren's voice talk about like stuff and most importantly...The Selection. So tonight, is like the most important night for me. I just entered The Selection a week ago, and today they announced the girls who are Selected. I'm dying to meet Ahren in person! His eyes are like so dreamy, and I'm like so pretty. We'd be a perfect match. My family was a Two and he's a One. We both come from wealthy families! Wealthy and the looks. That's all we need.
"Amber! Gavril is going to announce the Selected!" my mom yells, and I rush downstairs where my family is waiting for me.
Melody
It's Friday. Finally! My mom made me enter The Selection, and today she is forcing me to watch the Report. We sit down on the couch as Gavril starts reading off the list of names that are Selected.
"Joanna Starlike of Whites, 6"
"Amber Kingston of Clermont, 2"
"Juliette Rivers of Kent, 4"
"Melody Thomas of Carolina, 5"
My mom stands up and claps her hands. I roll my heads, but yet I'm very overwhelmed. I wonder what it's going to be like in the palace with all the maids and servants with you 24/7.
