A/N: This just popped into my mind...in the shower. Its fairly short and yeah.
Beca's been acting a little...off for the past few months.
Did I do something wrong? Chloe thought a few times. Beca and Chloe haven't had sex for a while, and every time Chloe asks Beca, the brunette simply says 'I have to finish this mix, Chlo' or 'I have to study for this test.' What's she hiding.
One day, while binge watching a season of Grey's Anatomy on Netflix, The redhead hears sobbing, the kind you hear when your dog dies, or you simply finished watching a movie where a dog dies.
Chloe anxiously got up from her spot on the couch and look for, or in this case hear for, where the sobbing is coming from.
Surprise, surprise, its her girlfriend's room.
She opens the door to Beca's room, inside was very dark. The only thing illuminating the whole room was the faint light of a flashlight.
"Becs?" She called out. Nothing. She flicked the light switch, and found the tiny brunette on the floor with tear-stained cheeks and smudged black eyeliner. In front of the brunette was Chloe's very own copy of the Divergent Trilogy.
"Oh, sweetie." Chloe a little shocked. Okay, not a little, a lot shocked. Beca effin Mitchell, self-proclaimed badass has read and is crying over a book.
"Why did she have to die." Beca squeaked out.
"Thi-This is just some weird, sick dream right? She-She'll wake up right next to Tobias right? And all that was just bullshit?" Beca rarely cried, but when she does, it's a fucking storm.
Chloe sighed. "Sorry, Becs. It ends there." And with that, Beca plain out sobbed on Chloe's lap.
So much for badass.
Chloe rubbed circles on Beca's back while she cried for hours. Chloe just stayed with her rubbing circles on her back or telling her that its just a book.
After about an hour and a half, Beca's sobs finally calmed a bit. She started hiccuping.
"Why did you read Divergent?" Chloe asks.
"Because, -hic- it's your favorite." Chloe almost melts at this.
The redhead smiles.
"Oh My God. Do I look like I've been crying?"
"No Bec, you look as tough as nails.
