Hello and I welcome you to my ever first poem. Anyways, like the summary says this poem is really some sort of ranting about the aftermath of Chrono Crusade and what I thought about Rosette. Either you enjoy it or you don't, it doesn't really matter.

Heroic Failure

To partake in an effort to defy the inevitable

Thus separating us from the wise from the foolhardily

That is how heroes and heroines are born

Not by man and woman

But by the Order of God

She was born a human and died a Saint

She had died fighting for a cause that was right to her

Did she?

To make an enemy in order to cover up her human responsibly was a rightful cause to her?

To her it is retribution.

To others, it is self denial

To her friends, they only saw her side of light

To her enemies, they only saw her side of darkness

To other they see both light and dark in her and we question them

Are they Gods?

Are they Devils?

She was strong. She was brave.

She was weak. She was a coward.

She was right. She was successful.

She was wrong. She was a failure.

Such things are never thought by all who knew her.

Such is the role of all humans. We are born, we live and we die.

She is no exception.

What she hoped for did not happen.

In the beginning it was possible to save the one she loved.

In the end, however, it was proven impossible and our perception had changed

What we feel is what we feel

Do we feel sadden?

Do we feel remorse?

For now, we only think.

Think about our feelings about her and what had transpired

To her friends she was a Saints of Saints

To her enemies she was a force to be reckoned with.

However to me? She was that of a heroic failure.

I'll tell you why I think this.

Why this is my perception of her.

It is because of her false accusations and anger that had blinded her to the truth

These were the instruments of her demise.

Thus being said, I hope you can all understand why I feel this.

To some they have experienced her feelings; they only see the one side of her truth

To me, I see she had experienced this in a different way. Vis-à-vis with love.

Love for her family and love for her lover

Love is proven to be the most powerful weapon and it is in that sense that it was her own undoing

I now leave you with two things.

One, with revolution comes sacrifice. If you cannot accept that, you deserve to die with your enemies

The other…dreams like hers are nothing more than an illusion.

Not all people can be saved

It is in these two sentences that may have changed her life…

In one way or another

If you haven't noticed, I inserted my own thoughts about her. I hope you don't mind. Anyways, now that it is say and done, please R&R and tell me what you think about it.
