His Flower

there is no one like you
He's seen her before, many times before. But now as he rests his eyes on her, in this place, he knows that she will change his world. Whether it was by tinting his shirt the color of a rose or by becoming his lover, he knows. The feel of her soft, cocoa skin underneath his long, pale, and rough fingers makes him question if this is what true love must feel like. He knows he will never find anyone else like her, so deep inside he hopes he won't have to pull the trigger.
domestic animals
He was pretty sure that when the word "mistress" left the lavender-haired man's mouth, he and his pretty little flower had two different definitions running through their minds. Who was thinking correctly? He honestly couldn't tell. All he knew was that regardless of if she was to be his master or lover, he was satisfied. He felt something purr within him from being stroked by the knowledge of their prolonged association.
a waste of time, love
His question left her pale blue eyes wonderfully exposed. As she attempted to pull the shutters down over her naked emotions, he felt a smirk split his face. He had already peaked into her soul, tasted, and enjoyed. To try and drive him away from the want of repeating that experience was simply a waste of time.
i can hear you laughing
Her shoulder slightly quivers underneath his fingertips. He carelessly stains her (his) shirt with the life essence on his hand, and feels pride for this young girl that he knows but does not know. Shock is apparent in her tight features, but even though he's been doing this for so long, he can still reflect on that feeling. He looks into her eyes, and she looks into his, and he's sure that she's hearing the tremulous laughter of the fates that brought her into this situation in the first place.
day by day
It was nice to have laid eyes on her this fresh morning. This morning that hid the filthy actions of the previous night. He could only smile as the pumpkin frantically pushed the flower out of his sight. As if he could ever hide her from him. A few minutes later, in that alley, he could have sworn there was challenge in the man's brown eyes. He would hate to have to douse that flame. He smiled, on his way to his shift, and knew that he would be looking forward to seeing his flower for more days to come.
do something wild
The fact that she is in his home, in his room, is causing a sensation in him that he thinks is dangerous. As his chest touches the back of her head, he contemplates the probable consequences of the numerous actions he could take. He settles for a patronizing tone, but his pulse tells him that he could have done something a bit more wild in fashion.
Just wanted to do a quick fic/analysis on one of my favorite pairings (and characters)! Hoped you liked it. Oh, and the switch between past and present tense was intentional. I did it based on the tense I felt the titles were. Please let me know what you think.
