How do you rally the troops? You give them a cause that gets them excited and ready to fight, and when you want to fight you need leadership and you will follow the one who claims this position. Even if the cause is meaningless, everyone wants a cause to live and fight for. This is natural, it makes you feel like you are meaningful because you are part of something you believe to be bigger than your meaningless self. I tested this at my gym class. A group of Atheists, these are perfect for this test, for with know religion they are not part of something and deep down have an empty feeling that must be filled with the first thing that can fill it. I told them that there is one true god out there, a god to be worshipped and fought for. I said that this god is Shrek, the character. WIth some persuasion, eventually all accepted him and asked me for guidance and leadership. What I have now are followers with a cause that while in reality is meaningless, but to them it has been convinced that this cause is what they live for. I then had my followers gather more followers, reciting persuasive lines that I taught to them. With a large base of followers, I started the next test. A test to see how far they would go for this false cause. I constructed a plan for them. With the plan devised, my followers were turned into more of an army. I ordered them to attack the Christian kids. They bullied all who were followers of other religion and the Atheists were given a choice to either join us or be bullied with the rest. These were no longer tests, with an enormous base of blind followers all looked to me as their undisputed leader. No others tried to seize this power. This was supposed to be a completely controlled experiment, but not even I had foreseen this. I had an army of those who would fight for me and who knows what else. I was suddenly given limitless power and as history shows, I wanted more. In my speeches to my followers about our cause, sometimes I would believe it my self. I spoke to my people as an emperor spoke to the people of Rome. I entered the school not as kid, but a king. In my school I and the Atheists were the bullied for we were not united and we had no true reason to be. We were the weak, the bullied and the hopeless; we had nothing to hope for. Now with our cause, we are the united, the strong and all others the weak who hide from us in fear of our powerful vengeance. No one is to stand up to us for we are too powerful to be fought. Years of oppression had hardened us to be the fiercest, the fiercest are now all united and with a cause, there is no stop to our reign. I walk from class to class, not in fear, but surrounded in respect. Some saw me as more than what our cause is about. That is because it has changed. Our cause is truly no longer Shrek, it is me. It is their leader freeing them from the oppression from who should be their peers. We are a brotherhood and we accept all who will follow and fight for our cause. It is no longer our gym class, our school, our district it is our city. The oppressed of our entire city have been liberated as my followers. While we do still worship Shrek, the religion is changed by the followers. They seem to believe I am Shrek in life, I am their savior, the Messiah, Jesus. With this belief, it is not only the Atheists who worship with us, believing I am a form of Jesus, people of all religions worship me. We now oppress those who stick to their beliefs, those who still believe in the oppressive causes. The Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, who oppressed us nonbelievers shall now all be oppressed. This is now our city, my city.
