Abandoned Angel

The world is a prison.

A prison made by god.

Here I am alone.

Separated from my kind,

I hope and pray each day,

That someone would come,

Someone with a pure heart,

So pure it will erase my pain.

The great pain that lay on my shoulders,

The pain and fear humans create.

A fear that kills the beholder.

I am left in an alley.

An alley filled with darkness.

I can see them.

The innocent souls of the departed.

They roam without a goal.

Wondering, never knowing.

Knowing when to stop.

I become fearful,

Fearful of what humans call death.

I keep thinking,

Thinking of what would become of me.

Will I change

Change so much that I can not recognize my own self.
