Through His Eyes
Abbey sat on his bed, he had nothing to do. He'd tried reading, studying for the math test next week, and even watched TV. But nothing seemed to entertain him, so now he just sat on his bed thinking. "Another weekend, another day of nothing to do" Abbey said. It's not that he didn't want to do something, he wanted to but he couldn't think of what. Suddenly the phone rang, Abbey went downstairs to grab it but Molly beat him to it."Hello? Ya, he's home. Abbey it's for you" Molly said before she handed him the phone. "Hello?" Abbey asked. "ABBEY!"
"Daisy, how are you?" Abbey asked, as he switched the phone to his other ear. "I'm fine, I just wanted to ask you something" Daisy replied. "Sure, what is it?" Abbey said.
"Well, do you want to go see a movie?" Daisy asked.
"I'd love to Daisy"
"Great! How about we meet there in half an hour?"
"Sure"
"Ok, bye Abbey" Daisy said.
"Bye" Abbey hung up, he finally knew what he was going to do today.
Abbey walked into the movie theater, he knew that he and Daisy would have a good time. "Abbey over here"
Abbey turned around to see Daisy walking towards him. "Hey Daisy"
"That's it? Hey Daisy? Thought you'd have something more romantic to say" Daisy said sarcastically.
"I didn't have time to come up with anything" Abbey replied.
"So what movie do you want to see?" Daisy asked
Abbey thought for a moment. "How about we see that new romantic comedy?" Abbey said. "Sure" Daisy replied.
After buying a few snacks the two got to their seats just before the movie started.
"Matt you never listen! Think about me for once!"
"Stacy I try, but my job is-"
"No more excuses! We're through!"
"This movie is kind of sad" Daisy whispered
"Stacy I'm sorry will you ever forgive me?"
"Yes Matt"
The two then kissed and the lights came on.
"Well that was kind of a cheesy movie" Abbey said as they left the movie theater. Rain started to fall, and Daisy stood inside the theater. "Come on Daisy" Abbey said.
"I can't, my curls will poof out" Daisy replied
"Daisy, we can go to my house, its shorter walk and when the rain stops I'll walk you home." Abbey said back.
"…Ok" Daisy stepped out into the rain with Abbey, and they began their walk. It didn't take as long as Abbey expected, he should have remembered how much Daisy hated rain.
"Ok, we're here" Abbey said. The two walked through the door, Daisy ran to the nearest bathroom. And Abbey walked into the kitchen, to find a note on the fridge.
Dear Abbey,
We went out to dinner, we'll be back soon!
Love, Janet
"Well, I guess they'll be gone awhile" Abbey thought
Abbey heard Daisy crying. "Daisy are you ok?"
"No!" Daisy said as she sat on the couch.
Abbey walked over, and sat next to her." What's wrong?" He asked.
"My curls won't go down" Daisy said
"Why that's not too bad" Abbey replied
"Not too bad? I'm ugly!" Daisy said
"Daisy, not to me"
"Well I….wait what?" Daisy asked
"Not to me, your beautiful Daisy" Abbey replied
"Really?"
"Yes, and that's nothing you, or even Paulo could change"
"Thanks, Abbey" Daisy said
"Your welcome" Abbey replied
"I love you Abbey"
"I love you too Daisy"
Merry Christmas Akacatgirl!
I really like your work and hope you keep it up.
