"We are growing weak."

A mew rung out in the circle of the five cats, their heads turning towards the fire coloured tom, his silver eyes watching each of them with anticipation. A dark grey she-cat sighed, glancing at the shimmering cats moving through the Starclan camp. Usually the founders wouldn't gather unless there was news concerning the clans they watched over, so a few cats were talked in nervous, quiet voices. However, the original clan cats had only gathered to discuss the recent outburst of code-breaking and corruption.

"I agree with Char," the grey she-cat nodded towards him, flicking her tail in aggitation, "Three murders within the last half-moon and two cross-clan relationships. Not to mention Robinstar and Palestar."

A flurry of meows escaped the circle, and one or two hisses. Recently the clans hadn't been abiding to the code set down hundreds of years ago, the same ones they agreed to when they were appointed new ranks. Some of the Starclan cats discussed attacking the four clans to warn them, some simply suggested that they send a warning to a cat who would listen.

"What are we going to do, then?" A pale white she-cat asked, her green eyes glancing over her shoulder nervously as if she was worried the clan cats could hear her. "We could send a message to Thymeleaf."

"No! We should attack, now, they can solve it themselves," A charcoal black cat hissed, his claws digging into the ground. The fire-coloured tom nodded, his tail flicking slightly on the hard earth.

"Peak, we cannot do that without warning-"

"We have to, Shore, I'm afraid they need a lesson, otherwise there will be no clans," The black tom said again, his claws retracting, but the same fire still blazed in his eyes.

"I- I suppose..." Shore sighed, her eyelids flicking shut. She was usually the most considerate of the five, but she could be easily manipulated. Looking at her paws, she tried to focus on the happy things, not about what Starclan was about to do.

"I think we should send Thymeleaf a message... and if they keep corrupting the warrior code a moon after, we should... punish them." Cloud sighed, shifting so his fluffy fur no longer hid his scarred face. He was the wisest, yet the quietest of the group. He barely spoke, and it surprised the clan founders when he finally suggested. After a few moments of muttering, discussing and a bit of arguing, they agreed on his decision. Thymeleaf, Shoreclan's medicine cat, would receive the warning and if nothing was done...

The clans would suffer.
