This is a little poem I cooked up that's kind of a little "future prophecy" thing. I wondered about what people will remember about the life of the Dragon Reborn when the wheel has turned. Hope the formating looks ok, with all the double spacing and everything...
Disclaimer: I don't own the Wheel of Time series. Robert Jordan does. If I wrote those books, they'd be done by now, because they'd be so much shorter... Good thing it's not mine!
I tell a tale
Of grief and woe.
Where lightnings strike,
And storms do blow.
Where pain and tears
Walk hand in hand;
And spread their kin
Across the land.
But hark! What's this?
A star of light,
A man of flame,
Eyes burning bright.
Full of power
Strength of iron,
Sways the mind
Like call of Siren.
Lord of Darkness
Fear his wrath.
Close watch the steps,
Upon his path.
Fire, Water,
Earth, and Air;
All for one,
Of three, to bear.
Spirit,
For the soul to heal.
Power, to make
The world kneel.
