FANFICTION= When Annabeth is showing Percy around the camp for the first time. How he should have found out he was the son of Posideion. Slight percabeth if you look through a microscope. AND HOW PERCY GOT HIS NICK NAME!
"And that's the barn over there. It holds all the horses and Pegasi."
She didn't stop for me to ask a question. She just kept on pointing to random things and naming them. It was confusing.
And, by this time a dozen or so kids were with us. And almost all of the kids at the camp were in earshot.
"And if you haven't seen the big lake, it is over there." She pointed to a direction we hadn't gone yet.
I interrupted, "Water?!?!"
Grover chuckled, knowing how much I love water.
When I saw the big lake I immediately started to run to it.
Annabeth called after me, panicked, "You're not supposed to run yet! You're still weak!"
"Too bad!" I called back at her. I heard chuckles, but I was busy. I just wanted to get into that water so bad.
As I pulled off my shirt some of the Aphrodite cabin members sighed and giggled.
The water, it seemed to pull toward me. By the time I was on the dock the water had pulled up to my feet. I did not pay attention to that at the time. But in the very back of my head I realized something was strange about that. Water should not rise to me.
At the end of the dock I did a perfect dive and halfway, as I was coming down, I met water. The water felt great. Better then the chlorine filled water at home. This water was mostly fresh. I don't count it fresh since a lot of kids swim in it every day and a stream from the ocean comes into it.
I went to the bottom of the lake and just sat there thinking about how complicated my life had gotten. Above the water I could hear screams and shrieks for me to try to swim up.
They didn't understand that water was my life. I couldn't live without it. I don't know why. Maybe it had to do with whoever my parent is.
Finally, the screams got to be to much. I went to the surface. "WHAT?!" I asked exasperated.
Everybody looked surprised to see I was alive.
"Percy! Dude! That's a new record 12 minutes!" Grover shouted at me!
Annabeth stuttered, "H- how- how are you alive?"
"He likes water." Grover explained.
All the campers were amazed.
I hadn't noticed Chiron until he spoke. He pointed above my head and announced, "All hail son of Posideion."
I heard gasps as I looked up. Above me was a green triton.
I smiled. Annabeth was looking above me with her hand over her heart. "I knew there was something special about you," she breathed.
I looked at her with a startled grin on my face. "What was that?" I teased.
She blushed then her gaze straying above me. Then abruptly, she reached over to me and pulled some seaweed off my head. "And what's this, Seaweed Brain?"
"Did you say something Wise Girl?" I asked as i pulled her into the lake.
"I'm going to get you," she said.
"NOT!" I called to her diving under.
Oh, yeah! I FROGOT THE DISCLAIMER: well, sigh, I do not own the PJO book series. Because if I did own them I would be writing a sixth one and not writing a FanFiction, duh!
