Amortentia… or Love??
Draco watched her in the crowded room, crimson hair standing out amongst the other Gryffindors lunching there. Her beauty also setting her apart. She was a traitor to their blood status, yet he was completely smitten with her.
He'd hardly thought of her these past couple years that she'd attended Hogwarts. For some reason, this year seemed different. He was suddenly obsessed with the Weasley girl. Just why he wasn't quite sure.
Suddenly she looked up, glancing his way. He was embarrassed that she'd caught him looking. She seemed amused by this and smiled boldly at him before turning away. He continued watching her from afar, being more careful this time so she wouldn't catch him again.
After lunch he trudged off to potions class. Professor Slughorn was reviewing the properties of several potions for Friday's test. Draco was only vaguely paying the lesson any mind when suddenly a word caught his waning attention… of course… Amortentia, that's how the Weasley vixen had befuddled his mind. Leave it to the little blood traitor to sink so low in getting his attentions. It angered Draco and he silently vowed to confront her straightaway.
Draco spent the next hour looking for Ginny. He finally spotted her coming out of the Charms classroom. Roughly he pulled her into a nearby broom closet. She seemed indignant as she exclaimed "What the Hell… Explain Malfoy!" He looked her over warily, worried she might hex him.
"You're the one who needs to explain Weasley… how dare you slip me Amortentia?!" he practically screamed.
Ginny giggled, "What makes you think I did?"
Draco blushed, "Why else would I be so infatuated with you?"
As she closed in to kiss him he heard her say "Cause maybe you love me…" With that, Draco conceded, passionately returning her kiss…
